If someone plays Plague Sliver, you take control of it with Overlord than sacrifice it with Acidic or Basal

you might want to try to get a hold on an Adaptive Automaton and find a place for it in here.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Frenzy Sliver . That card is deceptively powerful, as it forces an opponent to block or take extra damage.

I actually don't like Adaptive Automaton for this deck. He's just a colorless, weakened Muscle Sliver . I second Frenzy Sliver , the buddy above have a good point.

As long as you have Toxin Sliver or another sliver which deters blocking, Frenzy Sliver is quite nice. Also doesn't hurt if you have Two-Headed Sliver or Shifting Sliver out. Thorncaster Sliver is also a great addition. Hellrider for slivers. Use that to smoke a rather pesky creature or slap your opponent for extra damage.

Adaptive Automaton is bad when you could use Predatory Sliver

you can only put one of each cards so Adaptive Automaton can act like a second Predatory Sliver and it does not hurt having more +1/+1.

+1: Very nice. I have a Sliver Overlord Commander deck, though Mine was built to allow me to use more of my sliver cards(and only my older ones. The New Slivers are in a Deck currently). I do have to agree, being in front of a powerful sliver deck is brutal, and steering one at your friends faces is almost bitter-sweet. I only pull this out against my friend's Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind commander deck. That thing's infinite damage generators are sick! (I wish I had his list. He doesn't have a tappedout account)

I understand the want for the tutor cards you have, but I've never really had a need. If Sliver Overlord or Homing Sliver ever hit the field, I tend to have whatever I need almost instantly. However, my EDH/Commander group is low-ish budget, so most of what we have we've collected through the years. I imagine if your group spends a lot, then you're having much faster, powerful prey to hunt. :)

@Teifling, Thanks for the comment and +1 man, I really appreciate it. And yea my meta is full of a bunch of really high powered EDH decks so I was hopping to try and make this a little competitive. Plus like you said, being in front of a powerful sliver deck is brutal, and when your the one playing it, whats not to love.

I don't want to cause an Upheaval , but if the idea is to enrage people, Sliver Queen is the Sliver to be your commander. Every infi combo starts with the queen.

Your core combo enablers are Training Grounds , Basal Sliver , Mana Echoes , and even Dormant Sliver if you want to draw every card in your deck.

Homing Sliver is insane if you need tutoring. Plus, since I saw someone suggest Patriarch's Bidding , cycle all your slivers, then boom, burst of awesome.

To be honest, Primal Surge worries me with 6 other sorceries in the deck. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but casting that and showing Green Sun's Zenith off the top would be quite soul-crushing.

Hunter Sliver is meh. Go for Shadow Sliver if you want some real tricks ;)

Also, prepare to be hated on. Slivers are fun to hate.

Sliver Overlord tutors Sliver Queen and other slivers too, so Sliver Overlord is better general than Sliver Queen , And why this deck does not have Intruder Alarm and Predatory Sliver ?

Well yes Overlord tutors her up, but that doesn't justify running an inferior sliver as the general! If it's a flavor or personal choice, then by all means use Sliver Overlord , but for pure trolling, Sliver Queen is a way better general than overlord.

Yea I know ill be hated. That was kinda the point when I thought of this. lol. I made the Sliver Overlord the general because I felt I could tutor up my Sliver Queen if i got any of my combo pieces. However I might switch it up because Iv heard from most people to make the Sliver Queen the general. And @Colgate there is no Intruder Alarm because I had not heard of it until now. I think I may drop the Primal Surge for it.

Ok. First edh. So something you need to look into are edh staples. There are many and some may not hit sliver theme, but will help you a lot. First of all, with a five color, you need more mana rocks. I can see that I added some but especially in five color, let Lone sliver (very specific color drops), you need way more. Way way more. I could gt more specific and list examples, but being on my phone this is almost impossible for me to type as is. Coalition Relic is a personal fav for edh, and would be killer in this. Overall : research more staples, drop lnd count for moar rocks, and gl! Plus one

I can't express the amount of unfairness putting Defense of the Heart would be in your deck.

5 color land base can get super expensive because it usually mean 10 shock land ( Breeding Pool , Temple Garden , Stomping Ground , Overgrown Tomb , Sacred Foundry , Steam Vents , Watery Grave , Hallowed Fountain , Godless Shrine , Blood Crypt ) and 10 fetch land ( Polluted Delta , Wooded Foothills , Windswept Heath , Bloodstained Mire , Flooded Strand , Misty Rainforest , Scalding Tarn , Arid Mesa , Marsh Flats , Verdant Catacombs ). Admittedly these are not cheap, 3 of the onslaught fetchs are at least printed as a worlds version that you can pick up for less than $10 a piece but no such luck with the Zendikar fetchs. If you then add the 10 check land ( Hinterland Harbor , Sunpetal Grove , Rootbound Crag , Woodland Cemetery , Clifftop Retreat , Sulfur Falls , Drowned Catacomb , Glacial Fortress , Isolated Chapel , and Dragonskull Summit ) and 1 of each basic land, you will have a bulletproof land base. (I guarantee it cause I use it in my 5 color deck walkers' wake). But like I said its a bit spendy, on a budget we have some replacement split land that also work wonders. The 10 guildgates ( Simic Guildgate , Selesnya Guildgate , Gruul Guildgate , Golgari Guildgate , Boros Guildgate , Izzet Guildgate , Dimir Guildgate , Azorius Guildgate , Orzhov Guildgate , Rakdos Guildgate ) are all good substitutions. The 5 temples from Theros are good as well ( Temple of Triumph , Temple of Deceit , Temple of Abandon , Temple of Mystery , Temple of Silence ) and the next set will bring the other 5 temples. Fetch land gets a bit tricky to substitute but you can use the Mirage fetch lands ( Bad River , Flood Plain , Grasslands , Mountain Valley , Rocky Tar Pit ) with the 5 Alara fetchs ( Bant Panorama , Esper Panorama , Grixis Panorama , Jund Panorama , Naya Panorama ), they are a bit slower than the other fetchs but are significantly cheaper. This should make just about any 5 color deck work. If you do play all the shocks (or at least 1 of each basic land type) then Collective Restraint will force people to pay 5 mana per creature to attack you. Add Propaganda and Ghostly Prison and really watch them squirm. Great deck, keep up the good work!

you have next to none nonpermanent spells. you should DEFINITELY add Primal Surge

I had Primal Surge in there for a while, I was just not sure it was worth it. Plus it would suck to hit something like Green Sun's Zenith off the top. Still about Ill have to think about it again.

Cool deck! Why not replacing the guildgates with triple lands like Crumbling Necropolis ? Three colours is better than two!
