Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth isn't worth it. Since you would only use it as a splash for not all that effective cards it would more likely help an opponent than help you. Any deck that's B/X that gets starved on black is going to thank you when you drop Urborg.
As a former mill player I speak from experience when I say Mind Grind looks a lot better than it is =-)
(oh and generally Stain the Mind type effects aren't that effective)
Hope this helps =-)

byepolarbear Ive seen Mind Grind do some fun stuff. Currently testing a version using Caves of Koilos in place of 3 Plains . Also Slaughter Games destroys this deck...

All right here are my tips...For starters I can not see how they can't cast anything after turn 3 for that to happen your opponent has to only play 1 spell a turn unless you have a Render Silent or scilence always, those are unrealistic expectations, If your playing 2 colors Mutavault is a auto include. Decks that want rev play 3-4 they're also worse with that few lands, control decks need more card advantage than you currently have so add in 2 more Jace, Architect of Thought mostly for the minus ability adding another verdict because decks with out early pressure so go up to 4. elsepth, sun's champion is just to incredible not to run 1 or 2 of.

If I put all of that in Im just playing the regular UW Control... Thats not what Im going for here.

Have you considered bounce spells like Griptide ,Lightning Helix and Unsummon ? They are good especially against heroic decks, where your opponent just wasted a ton of trigger and pump spells to buff up an attacker.

wait sry for double posting, not lightning helix, its um Retraction Helix
July 24, 2014 5:10 a.m.
Unsummon isnt standard. Griptide is to expensive, Id much rather board wipe and I have 5 creatures in this deck... Retraction Helix would be a dead draw most of the time.

So you're just showing the deck off, then? Because that's how you could make this better and you just said "lolno".
3 Quicken seems greedy when you only have 4 Sorcery spells.
You should really be running 4 Verdicts. There's no other number to consider.
Elixir is cute more than anything unless you're running a set of Revs. I'd drop it for that fourth Verdict.

I dont have a 4th verdict or an Elspeth. And I dont netdeck. I enjoy building decks that are my own. I tried netdecking (MUD) and I didnt feel like I was playing something I made. I came up with this deck and built it out of cards I already had. Plus I dont care about making it better. I rotates in 2 months so theres no point in buying more verdicts/revs/elspeth for this deck.
July 24, 2014 1:29 p.m.
Not saying Elspeth is going to rotate. Just saying most of this deck is rotating so no point in buying an Elspeth right now to put in it.
