Titan's Strength really should have been printed as an uncommon. That thing is just really beast!

This is another splurge card, but Viashino Firstblade seems infinitely better than Heelcutter, for the curve's sake.
Continuing on, perhaps we could help you to build a sideboard?
Here's some suggestions I have for it, anyways:
Intimidation Bolt (for when you're being outraced/wiped)
Brave the Sands (Yeah, splurge #2, so forgive me for breaking your wallet, but this seems like it'd fit nicely)
Assemble the Legion would be an awesome 1-of, especially with Brave the Sands online.
Deflecting Palm is one of my favorite cards in standard atm, and it works wonders and makes opponents second guess swinging in for lethal.
Jotun Grunt as a later game beater? I wouldn't complain about a 4/4 for two mana that refills my deck (against mill especially, if you're just playing casually).
Now given that these cards aren't nearly as miserly as the others, if you've bought boosters in the past couple years, there's a chance you have a couple of the cards I've mentioned. Dismiss or admit the ones you like, best of luck with the deck. :D +1'd

If not for the Ride Down this deck would actually be Pauper-legal. Coordinated Barrage, Inquisitor's Snare, Puncturing Light or Celestial Flare could be possible alternatives.

Hey, TwerkForSubway, That's a good idea for a sideboard there! Unfortunately, pretty much everything you've suggested is uncommon, or over budget. I didn't include a sideboard purposely for the ability to push the deck to around $6. You could make one if you so desired, but not all decks have them. One suggestion you made that I do like a lot is Double Cleave I'll think about adding it!
ozymandais13 I was considering that while making the deck. It got cut for leap, though, for extra evasion.
Bloodspawn You're right! I totally forgot it was, too. I think Celestial Flare should work well enough, despite the WW cost. We'll see how it goes.

I'm not quite sure why you're going for such an unreasonable budget. Look at the price of the basic lands in this deck. Honestly, with a bit of patience, you could assemble this deck for free. So $2-$3 difference in the median price of the cards won't really make a difference in how easily you acquire the cards here.

electromancer You're right, with a bit of patience, you could assemble this for free. Although, if you were going to spend $2-3 for a card, you might as well be building a different deck anyway.

Sorry I was refering to the total cost of the deck. A $5 vs. a $10 based on the median TCG price on the side is a meaningless difference. I believe that price come from the cost of NM singles from the specific default printings shown on this website (I believe you can reduce the cost of this deck by specifying cheaper printings, although I never actually tried). The mountains alone contribute $3.15 to the total cost when I looked at the checkout.

How about Traitorous Blood? An extra colored symbol compared to Act of Treason but your stolen creature gains trample in return.

Bloodspawn Why didn't I think of that? I knew I was missing something. Thank you!

I've always wanted to try out a budget deck to test their mettle. Well here is my chance :) I have all these cards that came with the Deckbuilder's toolkit lol.

Dude I really like this deck, I really enjoy budget decks and always try making my decks at least psuedo-budget. There is just nothing quite like beating someone who has spent a ton of money on there deck with one you basically built for free! Lol I would second that Infectious Bloodlust I recently played in the origins release and a guy running 4 of those really did a number on me.

In an aggro deck like this you need more CMC 2 creatures. You only have 21 lands so chances are you won't be playing Skyknight Legionnaire on T3. The risk is you will be sitting with a hand full of creature buffs controlling no creatures to target.
I would recommend trying to make room for 3x CMC 2 creatures and 1 additional land If you plan to keep the heelcutters or alternatively replace the heelcutters with some CMC 2 creature and instead make room for some carddraw such as Tormenting Voice or Dangerous Wager.

Bloodspawn Actually, I had some Ajani's Sunstrikers in here before I swapped for Infectious Bloodlust to see how it would work out, and I think I have enough pump here. I'll put them back in.

Well, Infectious Bloodlust is nice, but I'd rather play Furor of the Bitten just because Boros Recruit with Titan's Strength and Furor is ridiculous, vs just the haste and a worse buff off Bloodlust, for one mana more, not to mention.
August 17, 2015 9:49 a.m.
TwerkForSubway I actually just took out the Bloodlusts in favor of more creatures and a little card draw, plus another land. I tested it out and it seems that I have a decent amount of pump here already.

This deck is terrible. I playtested it against my $500 deck and guess what? My deck won. Yours lost.
Oh who am I kidding. This deck is actually pretty cool and annoyingly effective. Nicely done on making a $6.71 deck. You got my +1.
August 17, 2015 1:22 p.m.
Figag That's odd, I play tested against yours and I won a couple times. Not every time, obviously, but a few. Who knew Flinging a Tasigur, the Golden Fang could be so lethal? I'm probably just biased. Thanks XD!

Not a problem, this deck is surprisingly good given the budget. My deck is hard to play though. Even I make mistakes a lot of the time, but that's why I playtest.
This deck plays a lot like Zoo. You drop some creatures and then use various tricks to beat them down to 0. I like it.
HOW DARE YOU FLING MY TASIGUR!!!! Or better yet, TASIGUR! HOW CAN YOU LET HIM DO THAT TO YOU!!!!! TRAITOR!!!!!!!
