Surprised Outcomes of the night.. —March 31, 2013
Surprisingly this deck fairs well. why you ask? in today's control heavy decks. Well..
First off i played last night casually ( though competitive since my friends are always running 600$ decks that control and beat you down i.e Thragtusk Restoration Angel ) but the fact that i make players do things they don't want to during their turn is a big up.
" oh do i need to play two spells right now? .. but i have too or the wolves stay and i get hit hard next turn, but if i do. he might just have a Moonmist or Full Moon's Rise to bring it all back..
Making the opponent waste spells on my wolves , (just because) is a good very good up. since i do have three Full Moon's Rise they all come back anyway.
That being said i was 4-1 , with a mana curve of 4, and a potential turn 6-7 swing in for almost 50+ damage? i love werewolf decks. So much that i am saddened that they are not able to be played competitively today. or can they..?

I feel like it'd be a good idea to sub out the Pillar of Flame
for more Searing Spear
and some other instants. I think you'll really want to have a lot of instants at the ready, that way you can control a bit more when the wolves transform. You can pass your turn, transform stuff from humans to werewolves and still cast your kill spells during your opponents turn. Or, if you want Huntmaster of the Fells
Flip
to transform back for another token and some life gain, you can always cast another instant and get the spell count during your opponents turn up to two.
Here's my werewolf deck. It's a bit different than yours, but maybe it'll give you an idea or two. I'd also love some comments if you get a chance! Werewolves of The Mist
