The whole purpose of the deck is to incorporate new Theros cards with previously recognized Ravnica combos. The cards work in harmony with one another. Eg. Burn spells trigger guttersnipe and young pyromancer procs, as well as fuel spellheart chimera's power. Master of waves buffs the elementals that young pyromancer produces, and can produce a few of his own, should the Bident of Thassa be present on the field. The Bident's card draw ability allows for replenishing your hand with a new barrage of burn/ counter spells. Note: Curse of the Swine is here to deal with Gods/ indestructibles should countering not have dealt with them.
