So, a quick answer to you again JujuleBarbu.
The main reason I don't run Artifact ramp, like you suggest, is that I don't have as many ways to recur and reuse it as I do with Instants and Sorceries. Cards like Anarchist, Archaeomancer, Izzet Chronarch, Mnemonic Wall and Scrivener all allow me to retrieve my ramp spells along with other pieces I might desire.
The one stand out suggestion you make, which I hadn't considered previously, is Evolution Charm, which I could see being useful for ramp and to return Child of Alara from the graveyard to my hand. I'm going to seriously see if I can fit that one in. So thank you for that. :)

Have you try Wake the Dead with all the recursion the deck has in form of Cards like Anarchist, Archaeomancer, Izzet Chronarch, Mnemonic Wall and Scrivener waker become very handy

Gift of Immortality should be a powerhouse in this deck. I'd cut Shade's Form for it.

Gift of Immortality is a great suggestion. I think I ignored it originally because it was a bit too high priced to fit the deck's budget

Gift of Immortality is currently around 5-10 cents on Cardmarket. I really love this build and am considering building it myself.
What is your opinion on replacing Faerie Trickery with something like Counterflux?

Please do build it and play it and share your tweaks and changes!
Regarding Counterflux, it's hard to say. I've tweaked this to be a largely wUBrG, Or Sultai with splashes of White and Red. So adding a red counterspell seems bad. Does you meta call for what Counterflux adds?

I know I don't have a huge write up about the deck currently, but did you have any other questions about it, or how to pilot it?

I actually just cut Faerie Trickery for Dissipate
September 18, 2018 11:30 a.m.
If I should go ahead and actually build it, I will share my experience with the deck. I thought I might have overlooked some synergy with Faerie Trickery.
Concerning Counterflux: It is indeed pretty color intensive in a deck that uses red as a splash color only. Playing mono blue counters might be the better choice in terms of consistency as you have pointed out. Since my meta is quite control heavy, I might give it a shot nonetheless.

The new Chamber Sentry might be interesting to try out in here.

I'm wondering if I really NEED Crop Rotation in here as it is a very expensive common. I was thinking of replacing it with Evolution Charm for utility, but could also see adding Sylvan Scrying. Any thoughts?

Sylvan scrying, evolution charm only search for basics

But Evolution Charm can also bring back Child from the graveyard...

Is it possible to work on a less budget deck, while keeping the janky reanimator/maze's end build? I understand that THIS one is the budget way, but I wonder how it would look with "better" reanimation spells and shocks and all that...keep up the awesome work!

CoolCat7271 Certainly. The mana base could be improved with Shocks and other, more expensive stuff. Feel free to make a copy and play around with it and let me know :)
Did you have anything in mind that you'd add immediately?

It says that it is $367 on the price bar I dunno if that’s because they’re all foil or something

Hey, It says in the description that this is a blinged out version of a sub 99 dollar list

I love your deck primers. The formatting and writing are a cut above. I'm curious about the changes you've made over time. Is this deck degrading in strength as inflation makes you remove cards? Are the changes you've made to improve the deck and that is why the ceiling is now $99? A little of both?

Hey, Thanks! I appreciate your appreciation.
Well, tbh this deck's budget has fluctuated over the years, rising from about $50 to the current budget. This is partially due to tweaking the list to add a bit more power, and of course also due to rising card prices. So I'd say a little of both.

A couple card updates here as the new Ravnican sets add more Gate synergy.

Hey,I appreciate all your decks, especially oloro, boy is it fun to be an ass. I wanted to know how does this deck work, win con, downsides, ups, stuff that makes my opponents want to concede. What makes this deck so good ?
JujuleBarbu says... #1
Thank you for your quick answer ! I'll try to make more match up and give you my feedback. By the way, the cards I quoted are very low budget (except maybe Expedition Map but you can find it for 1€ at worst), and might fit with your idea (I really like the budget concept in general, and I love to play good budget decks : not because it's cheap, but because it forces you to play unusual cards and make researches. Writing this comment here is part of the fun !). I wanted to get your feedback on the cards I quoted earlier. What do you think of them ?
