Yes. Yes. Good. I'm glad peoe are already brewing the new guys. I made Sneks like Swords with the cards I had on hand and I'm loving it.

Any reason you chose compleate instead of complete?

Its_Johnny_Bravo some of the cards from New Phyrexia have the Praetors talking about things being made "compleat". that's how it's spelled for them.

"compleat" was an old alternate spelling of "complete", but over time, while "complete" came to mean finished or finalized, "compleat" came to mean perfect.
In mtg lore, when Yawgmoth began to infect people with Pthisis so that he could cure them, he began to refer to people who weren't in line with his vision of combining tech with machinery to evolve people as suffering of Pthisis, and called the opposite of such "Phyresis". Hence Phyrexia was meant to be a world of perfection, a world that is "Compleat".

Thanks canterlotguardian and GenesisWave for explaining it, I'll have something in the description explaining that little tid bit when I get around to it (soooooo much to write to explain the deck).
When I saw Ezuri NecroPony I about lost my shit, and it reminded me of an awkward elves list I once built for Damia, Sage of Stone that had next to no black in it besides tutors, so I thought a lot of those cards could transfer into this build.
Sniperwave, maybe on Sage of Hours, probably not on Fathom Mage. I haven't gotten to it just yet in my primer/description for the deck yet but the deck is made with Aluren in mind since I can pseudo combo pretty hard with it and Glimpse of Nature-esque effects.
GenesisWave, it's an interesting card but I feel like it's a tad durdly for the deck and costs a lot of mana to really make use of. I'm also unsure what I would take out for it.
Glad you guys like the deck so far, I plan on doing a lot more work on the description today c:

I love kamigawa and I swear I exploded when I saw Kaseto. Finally a general that grabs my interest. Plus its got a silly tribal aspect...

I have a few suggestions here.
First i would dump off Coat of Arms as many commander decks are themed to one type of creature and this will likely hurt you rather than help you.
I always think the lieges are a great addition to multicolored decks, in this case Murkfiend Liege.
Cold-Eyed Selkie is great for card draw.
Overbeing of Myth will keep the cards coming, not very powerful though. Can be, but not usually.
Lotus Cobra im not sure on the legality but could be awesome.
Phantasmal Image is always a great choice.
overall looks pretty good +1

I could see dropping Coat of Arms maybe? No one in my group is playing anything tribal so it doesn't really scare me to play it.
Phantasmal Image is already in the list.
Murkfiend Liege and Overbeing of Myth neither fit the Aluren plan nor add to the elves plan so I probably would add them to this particular build.
Lotus Cobra is legal, but a lot less potent in this deck when I don't have a ton of fetches, Crucible of Worlds and most spells cost little to none when compared with the fact that I'm ramping hard with dorks already.
I could see Selkie if I drop coat. Another utility creature that fits in the Aluren and can just draw a fresh hand every turn seems decent.

Decided Sage of Hours > Coat of Arms. Sage can just lock out the board the turn I play it if I have 5 or more Experience Counters.

yeah that looks pretty good lol.. infinite turns, throw in Bioshift just to be safe. Along with a Primordial Hydra

Have you considered Undergrowth Champion? It works with the new Ezuri and Aluren while also giving you a virtually indestructible creature for chump blocks or attacking. I don't know what you would take out though...
November 4, 2015 3:39 p.m.
Yeah, Champion is way more reactive than proactive. Which is not exactly what this Ezuri build is looking for, I'm sure more midrange builds would like him though.

No Prophet, at 5 mana I'd rather be emptying my hand than play one guy that will absolutely die. Besides, not enough instants or draw spells in general to really make him worth the risk IMO.

I would still play him, he draws a removal spell and gets you a guy at instant speed. One of the best cards in commander.

Prophet of Kruphix is absolutely a good card, I'm not debating that as I run it my Riku of Two Reflections list. However, in this deck creature type matters a lot and so does CMC. Prophet fits neither the CMC 3 or less nor the elf creature type. For me to want to play a creature that doesn't make those cuts, it needs to either do something when it comes into play, or be able to set up for combo potential in the case of Primordial Sage and Soul of the Harvest.
Icefeather Aven costs to much to make use of it's ability and the ability only happens once, as well as the fact that it doesn't really do anything unmorphed.

I hated Ezuri when he came out. I hated Ezuri until right now. Holy crap, this is actually really good.

I'm so hyped about the new Ezuri so I'm loving that other people are too! +1 just for that.
Also, Intruder Alarm in this would be broken as all hell. lets you abuse all those mana elves and such especially with your Aluren combo.

I'd recommend looking at Sage of Hours and Fathom Mage for some janky combo's
