I'd say this deck is all about the little guy- but that would be a lie.

**THIS IS A DECK ALL ABOUT VORINCLEX AND WHAT KIND OF STUPID SHIT HE CAN DO TO A BUNCH OF MUSHROOMS. **

You're looking at a deck that is all or nothing. Like a real fungus infestation, you might have nothing one moment and then be up to your eyeballs in 144 1/1 saprolings the next. This has happened. You could also get maybe one Thallid out and get bored to death before anyone swings lethal at you- but there's a lot of possibilities here. A lot of things are possible when Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Doubling Season and/or Parallel Lives are all out on the battlefield.... Believe it or not this was supposed to be a budget tribal deck, once upon a time. Once.

THE BASICS

This deck is built around our commander, Vorinclex- he is cool just like all other Phyrexians, but he is a special Phyrexian- he's what I like to call an enabler, because his abilities just make everything viable. He could make dog crap viable if it has some kind of ability that synergized with counters. Not only is he an enabler but he hits like a freight train with both trample and haste stapled to a 6/6 body. There will be some games where you can win by just rolling other players for straight commander damage- but that's not why I made this deck and that's not why you're reading this description. You want an idea of what Vorinclex can do without ever throwing a punch or greasing up a planeswalker.

BAD THINGS THAT BAD PEOPLE DO

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Coretapper + Darksteel Reactor = Make everyone mad without ever swinging.

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Doubling Season +Helix Pinnacle= This only works in your group once but it's worth it.

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Doubling Season + Saproling Burst = "Yes, that's a 27/27"

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Doubling Season + Parallel Lives + Saproling Burst = "Yes, that's x50 5/5 Saprolings"

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Doubling Season + Parallel Lives + Saproling Burst + Mycoloth = "Yes that's an additional 74 1/1 saprolings each turn"

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Spore Flower = Not an actual wincon but Fog on a Stick deserves an honorable mention for just how often it has repeatedly saved my ass, especially if you're trying to pull off those aforementioned Helix Pinnacle or Darksteel Reactor stunts.

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider + Karn Liberated = Yeah, Karn Liberated is in my sideboard- he was the first card I ever traded for (and back when he was, like, 75$) and he will remain in all of my decks regardless of context, but it helps here that he's a nuke that need only survive one round unscathed.
