Just a casual (proxy) deck for multiplayer. Plays less all-in than the traditional aristocrats due to the inherent grindyness of multiplayer. Has a cool multicolored-spell subtheme with Hero of Precinct One and General Ferrous Rokiric as well as a legend theme with various human legends that work very well together and are protected by Benevolent Bodyguard and General's Enforcer. Basically a bunch of very annoying humans that are a ticking timebomb waiting for their Mistress Falkenrath Aristocrat and her court jester Juri, Master of the Revue. Unlike let's say soldiers who usually get really big, then struggle to end the game against a good defense, this deck blasts away just about anything due to indestructible, protection and direct damage.
About some cards choices:
I tried Zulaport Cutthroat, but was honestly not too impressed. The early turns and the times you don't get to amass enough humans are what this deck struggled with and this card does nothing in those spots. Yes, you can sometimes one-shot people with it, but at this point you basically won anyways, so being a 1/1 as well as not multicolored was what made me cut him in the end. Juri, Master of the Revue does something similar, but is also huge (this mofo triggers off fetchlands as well!!) and fits the legend + multicolor theme perfectly.
Cartel Aristocrat similarly didn't do enough as a 2/2. Due to the being less all-in than traditional Aristocrats with Alood Artist, this card really didn't do enough as a small sacrifice outlet. I've tried Fleshtaker instead, but found that I struggled more and more to have enough humans. Doomed Traveler and Gather the Townsfolk really aren't where you wanna be at in a multiplayer game in terms of card efficiency.
After scouring scryfalls, I finally found a card that fit the multicolor as well as the human synergies in this deck: 4x Join the Dance gave this deck the consistency it needed and Hanweir Militia Captain
as well as Falkenrath Aristocrat the bodies they wanted while not being bad with Hero of Precinct One.
This deck is mostly white, so fetching Scrubland followed by Plateau usually does the job. There's a Savannah for the Join the Dance and a Ziatora's Proving Ground and Savai Triome to fetch for when you don't curve out. The mana in this deck is surprisingly very consistent.
I considered something like Rally the Ancestors, but it's is too all-in against more than one opponent and Immortal Servitude is far too expensive as it rots in my hand for an eternity and when I finally could cast it I can't even be sure a Scavenging Ooze or other common hate screwed me already.
Some things to be noted: In our multiplayer group we're basically having a banlist similar to Legacy with some small additions like Mother of Runes, but thankfully also Terminus. That said Benevolent Bodyguard does his job surprisingly well and even has nice synergies with being able to attack and the sacrifice triggering Juri, Master of the Revue. I just don't want my expensive threats to be plowed easily. Falkenrath Aristocrat is a Lady after all!
