A tip, this is similar to a human deck i have made, the one problem i find with creatures like humans is you usually dump your entire hand on the field and live off the draw. That means if someone board wipes you are forever behind with only one card in your hand. Mentor of the Meek is an excellent card to do this but I'm not saying its the only one, but everything in here is a power of 2, its never a bad thing to have plenty of cards in your hand.

@Sharkhuntr I'll certainly think about Mentor of the Meek at least for sideboard, if not maindeck.

@Fullmetalmage I'm really aiming for tribal humans here, the Kor just won't synergize

I've recently had some constructive criticism on including those allies ( Kazandu Blademaster Hada Freeblade )and bringing in more-useful spells.

Any opinions on bringing in more Thalia, Guardian of Thraben s, True Believer s, Elite Vanguard s, or Student of Warfare s welcome.

Also welcome are any suggestions for other white instants and such to include

@ pingpongball120 What would Precinct Captain replace?

Hero of Bladehold and Gather the Townsfolk would both be good choices. Also you do want more Thalia, Guardian of Thraben s and Honor of the Pure s.

@ Saithor 4 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben s? Really? I'll think about it. My LGS is totally out of Honor of the Pure s, so I might have to do an internet order.

Instead of Stony Silence I'd try Kataki, War's Wage it's just so much better against affinity, also the Tarmogoyf fight really helps with not just your sideboarded Rest in Peace but also with more removal like Celestial Flare and Banisher Priest also Angel of Jubilation is, in my opinion, more powerful than honor of the pure not only is it unaffected by thalia but it is also the same effect on a 3/3 flying beat stick.

@ Sam_McGee1 I'll certainly look into getting some Kataki, War's Wage s. More removal is certainly a possibility, but I don't want to slow down my initial surge of troops. Sadly, Angel of Jubilation seems a bit slow, although the "can't sacrifice" effect might be worth looking into. I wish I could have a sideboard of 25...

Fiendslayer Paladin is always needed in a WW deck. First strike lifelink pro black and red with a nice body? 4 copies please :)

I suggest taking out Elite Vanguard for it, He should be more in the sideboard for countering aggro decks like Zoo running Wild Nacatl

@ Magiclover318

Fiendslayer Paladin is tricky because he doesn't really have protection, just almost-protection. 2/2 for 3 is also pretty expensive for this deck. My other 3 casting-cost critters can hit for 4 with their doublestrikes going. I also do not want to dilute my fistful of one-drops any further, either. That's one of the strongest openers this deck has.

Magiclover318 says... #13

Well he is immune to almost every type of burn or death spells.

Yeah I understand not wanting to dilute the one drops haha and you got some good synergy here. +1 from me

Also Angel of Glory's Rise is good for a human deck.

@ Chipmunk47 I'll certainly think about the Elites switch. Angel would be a dead card in most of my games.

What you do need in this deck are 4 AEther Vial and you will be golden! Whay better than the marginal effect cavern of souls gives you. Getting rid of elite inquizitor (which does close to nothing) and possibly the Ajani.

In the SB, ratchet bomb is very detrimental to you, you will end up sacrificing your own dudes too. Torpor Orb can be much more beneficial, by disabling all the POD decks, among others.

Mirran Crusader and Elite Inquisitor belong in the sideboard. Instead you should defineatly put in 1 or 2 Odric, Master Tactician s and a few Grand Abolisher s. Cavalry Pegasus is a must and a Frontline Medic might help as well. Check pout my humas deck. Undeniable Bravery (Humans Aggro)

@ hassankachal My meta is bloated with black and green, so Mirran Crusader stays maindeck. Odric, Master Tactician is too slow without ramp. By turn 5, when he should be attacking, I should only have to do 2-3 more damage to do if any. With the other competitive decks in standard, I need to be pretty much done by turn 4 because that's when the "better" decks have all their pieces in place to dominate. The only deck I've seen faster than mine is replete with Kird Ape and Wild Nacatl and the $300+ in land to fuel them. If I slowed down my deck, I would need more control than this mono-white build affords. If I brought in another color, I would need to spend at least $120 on land, and that's not in the schedule. The pegasi are a neat idea for evasion, though.

Its a mono white deck, if you want ramp run Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx .
