Went 2-0-1 last night (2-0-0, 2-0-0, 1-1-0).

First round was against a guy new to magic, playing U/W. He didn't have a side-board, and while he was able to lock down some of my creatures, he wasn't able to retaliate fast enough.

Second round was against a B/W token deck which he won the previous round flat out (2-0). The first game was a clinch as he was mana-blocked (only 2 mana and needed 3). The second game proved quite close, as he got his 3rd mana, but I was able to stave of his 4/4 human tokens with some 1/1 humans and spirits long enough to get Mikaeus to further pump a Geist-Honored Monk (11/11) and the Drogskol Reaver (5/7 with doublestrike).

The last round was by-far the toughest against a 4-color deck I'm nicknaming the Gandhi deck. Total non-violence with 4 fogs, 4 clinging mists, 4 wrath of gods, 2 oblivion rings, 2 or 3 stonehorn dignataries, 1 Rite of Flourishing, 4 snapcasters, an increasing confusion, other cards of the same non-violence behavior, along with Jace, Garruk Relentless, Venser, Karn, and almost every allowed multi-land. The first game was over when he got Jace out and sucked my library dry. I side-boarded in witchbane orb, much to his dismay for the second game. Oblivion Ringed, his Oblivion Ring which had exiled my Karn... there was some major craziness extending into what seemed like the 20th turn before he conceded to get a draw with no 3rd game (long story there).

I'll be adding a Grand Abolisher to my sideboard for future encounters.
