Sideboard

This was the deck I played for Avacyn Restored Game Day.

I'm trying to avoid old block cards, even though Hero of Oxid Ridge would be a huge bomb in this deck.

The actual deck on game day had Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded instead of Reforge the Soul but I found i was only using him for his +1 draw ability anyway, so I think Reforge the Soul is a better fit.

I finished 3rd of 15. Matchups were:

vs. 4-color control: 2-0Terminus was annoying at times, but I was able to get in enough damage to be able to Pillar of Flame him the rest of the way. Sided in Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Restoration Angel. Thalia did good work, and the angel didn't see play, but I was able to aggro in a win.

vs. UW Spirit Delver: 2-1Lost G1 to a Spirit token with a huge Runechanter's Pike on it. Had them at 14 life, but could only swing for 12 before the deed was done. Sided similar to the 4-color control, but added in Manic Vandal as well to pop a Pike along the way to a victory.

vs. Reanimator: 0-2I knew this was going to be a tough match when he was able to get a T3 elesh norn in G1. With my only mainboard out being a Fiend Hunter in the next 3 turns, the writing was pretty much on the wall. Sideboard helped by providing some stalling with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, but Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded didn't do me any favors when I randomly discarded my Divine Deflection that could have saved me in G2. Also, my opponent made a beautiful play when he used a Phyrexian Metamorph to copy my Fiend Hunter that was covering up his elesh norn . With no real graveyard hate in my sideboard, this will always be a tough match up. However, it did inspire me to swap Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded for Reforge the Soul which has been over-performing.

vs. UW Spirit Delver: 2-1Lost G1 to an early Sword of War and Peace, but it was a close one. Sided similar to the other delver match-up, but added in Faith's Shield because my opponent showed Dismember and Gut Shot in G1. G2 was beautiful because I was able to land a Riders of Gavony for Pro-Soldiers after they dropped a Timely Reinforcements. Followed that with another rider for Pro-Spirits and off to G3. I always had a toehold in G3, but it was decided in my favor when he tried a last minute instant of Midnight Haunting to stop lethal damage, but I responded with a surprise (to him especially) Faith's Shield for Pro-White.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!
