This deck needs Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to be a 4 of, her impact against delver and control is important enough to where you almost always want to play her turn two against these decks. Also she happens to be a lightning rod for removal so you'll rarely have excess copies rotting in your hand.

Also if you go with Champion of the Parish it's as a 4 if you want max value from him, Gather the Townsfolk is also needed to be maximized.

Adaptive Automaton , Elite Vanguard , and Elite Inquisitor are perfect places for cuts.

I would also highly suggest adding 3 more land, as you want to reliably get to 3 mana by turn 3. If you're actually serious about wanting to play mono white I would also highly suggest you add in all legal w/u duals and 3 copies of Moorland Haunt .

On another note even if you happen to own cards that are in m13 they won't be legal for standard tournaments until the set is officially released.

The m13 cards in the sideboard are what I plan to put in, I have other cards curretly in their place.

I can see thalia being a 3 of, but not quite a 4 of. I have 1 in there currently and I'm looking for more. Also working towards a last Champion of the Parish . Elite Inquisitor seems like such great value for ww and has been performing well in my tests. my land count has been fine as most of the time i only need 3 mana.

I have yet to have an issue with the amount of lands, since it is mono white. If I splashed blue in this deck for just a land I feel like It would be a waste if I didn't make the deck U/W at that point (aka delverish) and that's not something I want to invest in.

I guess Angel of Jubilation is better than Adaptive Automaton . Even the cost is higher, the ability protects you more.

Also you may put Windbrisk Heights

well Windbrisk Heights isn't legal in standard. I could see angel of jubilation being good, but i'm not keeping the automaton's around for too much longer as I will take them out for some m13 cards im looking at

Adding Moorland Haunt and u/w lands in no way requires you to use a single blue spell and it will in fact only help your deck fight a competitive field better, in the 7-8 months I ran my humans deck, there were numerous games where Moorland Haunt won me the game. In a drawn out game Moorland Haunt gives you creatures that your opponent can't often deal with anymore because they are also top decking right along with you. Also why would you think I'm suggesting you go with a delver like approach when I'm trying to tell you need 4 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben , the Dead Weight of delver decks.

Also I know that you most of the time need only 3 mana, but in a competitive setting you need that 3 mana on turn 3. 24 land will allow this to happen more frequently, of course since you're not going with a Moorland Haunt plan playing boring old plains, but your goal is to play 1,2,and 3 drops and effectively use all your mana on turns 1,2, and 3.

I'll test it out and if i like it enough i'll go ahead and grab the materials, but a full set of the scars lands is expensive, considering they are rotating out soon. I might go ahead and up my lands to 22 or 23 but 24 seems a bit much, considering I have almost no issues getting a hand with the mana i need or drawing that 3rd land.

I didn't think you were suggesting I take a delver approach, I was just wondering why I would go for a full set of U/W lands just for the purpose of Moorland Haunt . I like getting good value when it comes to buying cards, and 8 U/W lands for a couple haunts seems a little over the top.

I think what Demarge is trying to say is that you want to do better than just having your 3 mana by turn 3. You should easily have at LEAST 4 mana by turn 3 if not 5 mana. But I use card:Avacyn's Pilgrim.

Well I'm actually considering going for the G/W route of humans, running Gavony Township , Champion of Lambholt , card:Avacyn's Pilgrim, Ulvenwald Tracker , and probably other things. I'll decide after this friday though

Take out the Avacyn's Collar and add the 2 Ring of Thune's and u want to run 4 of Cathedral of War it is a insane card and it stacks, throw the knight of glorys in i plan on running 4 of them they are really good even for mainboard and i say add 1 more thalia

Made a couple changes in order to fit odric in, as well as clean up the mana curve a little bit. In: 2x Odric, Master Tactician 1x Fiend Hunter . Out: 1x Mayor of Avabruck  Flip 1x Wolfir Silverheart 1x Geist-Honored Monk (moved to sideboard). Also trying Ulvenwald Tracker in the sideboard, but i'm concerned that i won't make the cut because my 1cmc slot is filled (not including bonfire of course).

I like the deck I play naya aggro honestly though Sigarda, Host of Herons is too good jot to at least side board it wrecks most decks. Check my list out if your interested deck:yevas-playground

I can see Sigarda finding a home in my sideboard at the very least. It's tough to fit it into the mainboard since I already have the right amount of 5 drops. I can see situations where i side out a slime or silverheart for her. If i see anyone with her for trade i'll definitely pick her up. Good suggestion!
