Nykthos seems great. The reason why I'm pushing Servant is getting more humans entering the battlefield triggers for Thalia's and for Champion, and at one mana its the cheapest way to get them, but I guess they're mostly there to go wide for big inspiring calls that dig you up your bombs; so if going wide(ish isnt what you're after maybe don't go that route, its just what I'd want to do with this.

The way I see it, the wider you can go early, the better all of your bombs become.

Just Inspiring call can preserve your board for that extra turn for you to get the big 4-5 drop down. Since everything needs to grow over the course of a few turns its just sooo good I dunno. Bridges the gap between t1-t4 and the endgame.

Wow, between DanLane and JuhnZeiFox, you guys have given me a lot to think about. The main reason for Daghatar the Adamant is so he is comes in automatically with flying and or lifelink. Also, unless I'm wrong, for every Hardened Scales on my battlefield it automatically gives him one more counter when he enters. Same for Servant of the Scale. This deck started off budget using cards I already had, but I'm really liking how it's turning out so I might have to dish out a couple more bucks for an extra Mikaeus, the Lunarch. Thanks for the input you guys its VERY much appreciated!

I just built a deck around this card: Archangel of Thune, and though it does PERFECTLY compliment your deck, its HELLA pricy.

I see what your saying about Daghatar the Adamant.... with hardened scales and the others up he could be a 5/5 flyer on turn 5... However Angelic Overseer is the same attack but indestructible on the same turn with no conditions. If you want that then maybe go with more of her?

I made a silly lifegain Abzan deck with Archangel of Thune, you can check it out as soon as I post it here.

Okay well you have to have one human but thats a far easier condition to fulfill than Daghatar.

How about Experiment One? It is a human after all.

The problem with Experiment One is that most of my weenies come in as 1/1s. It does seem to fit really well in though, I'll shove it into the maybeboard. Thanks for the suggestion!

Just ran across your deck again after another extended hiatus from MtG. How about Repel the Abominable, Aegis of the Gods (even just Sideboarded), Intrepid Hero, or good old Grand Abolisher

I haven't seriously thought about my sideboard yet, and I am definitely putting Grand Abolisher there and maybe a couple Aegis of the Gods. Thanks for the suggestions!

Nice! If you play 4-5cc mana creatures, I suggest you add something as Avacyn's Pilgrim or Noble Hierarch. Take a look to my GW Powerlifting Humans ;)
