This is awesome. I used Hundred-Handed One at the pre-release and instantly fell in love. Others didn't share my enthusiasm, shrugging it off, but I'm glad to see someone realizes it's potential. I'm curious about your 4x Observant Alseid . Looks like you could use a bridge and she seems a little weak, no?

+1 from me! Happy Building.

@OccupyMagic Thanks! Good idea, I needed some more cheaper guys so added Wingsteed Rider . Spear of Heliod is awesome but I'd rather become invincible to attacks, or target a hero with an enchant.

The Observant is probably better than it looks; It gives me another good target for Holy Mantle on turn four, and bestows on Guardian of the Gateless to great effect.

What about Seraph of the Sword or Banisher Priest ? (I actually checked to make sure they weren't already in the deck this time. Lol.

Also, Phalanx Leader is devastating. It may start as a 1/1, but it buffs every creature! It seems like it at least deserves consideration.

Mmmm those are all pretty awesome...I feel like the Phalanx leader might work better in a more white-weenie build, though. Banisher Priest is sauce, will keep him in mind in case I need more removal!

That's awesome. Gift of Immortality would be annoying here. I like the Banisher Priest idea too. Also, Heliod, God of the Sun could work well and Elspeth, Sun's Champion is a solid option in the mid or control matchups.

Holy Mantle does not target Fabled Hero Otherwise this sounds sweet in modern with Spirit Mantle

Ah, but it does ;) all auras target a permanent.

@DavidBray Actually, enchantments target. It doesn't say so on the card, but it does in the reminder text of "Enchant Creature".

Hey try Palisade Giant , has synergy with Holy Mantle too.

Since you're down to only one Heroic creature, I think I would go with Brave the Elements instead of Gods Willing . You lose the Scry, but it's all creatures.

I agree with @ChrisHansonBiomancin , Gift of Immortality could be better than Indestructibility as it will prevent your creatures from being destroyed due to accumulation of -1/-1 counters (should someone be able to accomplish that). Regardless, pretty sweet deck.

I take back my original statement, Gift of Immortality does have the drawback of you losing all the enchantments and +1/+1 counters you had accumulated on your creature if it were destroyed.

Definitely going to try a variation of this deck. I really enjoy the defensive nature going on here. It's a cheap deck start that allows upgrades as card acquisition allows. +1

I think you should add one more Indestructibility for lawls, and maybe take out Observant Alseid for Gift of Immortality, and if you can afford them I agree with ChrisHansonBiomancin you should put in maybe 2 Elspeth, Sun's Champion because they are JUST DUMB! Cool deck by the way!

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx would help get the ball rolling a little faster with all the WW creatures/enchantmants.

I really like this deck, but the only problem I see is a lack of a turn one move. You have some one-drops, but you don't have anything to do on turn one except "Plains, pass."

If you're on the draw, you're almost two turns behind. They play something T1. You pass. They play something on T2. THEN you get to play something. That puts you kinda behind a bit.

I like Soldier of the Pantheon for this deck because he's evasive and nets you life. If you want to keep the deck budget, maybe you could consider Judge's Familiar or Favored Hoplite ?

Like I said, I like the deck a lot, but some early game could be really good. Maybe you could drop the Observant Alseid for the Soldier?

What do you do about flying for the first four turns? Just wondering because I'm using this idea myself and im afraid that im going to lose to something like Jace's Phantasm or mill decks in general maybe through in a couple Elixir of Immortality to stop this?
