Guardian of the gateless is better I feel..than serra angel i'd play 2 of each and see which one shines brighter.

Also consider Guardian of the Gateless , which could get that Holy Mantle combo online faster.

So...is Godsend making its way into this deck? and maybe Gorgon's Head ? Both of which would work wonders with Hundred-Handed One . I +1'd this deck a long time ago, it's been great watching the score skyrocket.

Rest in Peace is a nice sideboard card to combat graveyard shenanigans. +1

With so much devotion, you could add in Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

Godsend.... Imagine that on Hundred-Handed One. Sure you can only exile one per block and blocked, but you can total neuter someones strategy because of the second part of the exile. No more casting any of their favorite attackers or blockers... And it skips past hexproof because because it doesn't say target (if I am reading it right). :D

But seriously, I really like this deck. Much more interesting than the typical mono white weenies that are running in my meta right now...

I love how your deck has evolved over the course of the last year. I curious though, what are your thoughts on protecting against Crackling Doom? I know a single deck can't do everything, but crackling doom is a real thing and unfortunately Aegis of the Gods won't protect you from something that targets each opponent. I only know because Mardu is big in the local meta and wreaks havoc on a number of my decks.

Oh man, you are right...that is a chink in the armor of this deck...I will have to think about it. It's a tough thing for monowhite to overcome, let me know if you have any thoughts!

I have a thought vs. Crackling Doom...how about Gift of Immortality? It's only preemptive, but better than nothing.

That is probably the best option. My only other thought was a "Keep something in your hand to pump a creature to 6 power and offer it up as a sad sacrificial lamb" option...which is horrible to say the least.

You will lose your Spectra Ward and monstrous, but it is definitely better than nothing.

Nice choice!

Ever consider Sunbond?

I like it! However, I'd add 2 Heliod's Pilgrim and take out 2 Plains. I find that occasionally i cannot draw into a Spectra Ward, so being able to fetch one would help.

Good call CoolDude...I went ahead and maxed out the Spectra Wards, dropping a Seeker of the Way. The Pilgrim may find a home here but I hate showing my opponent that it's coming...not rational I know :)

I also always liked Guardian of the Gateless because it starts out similar to a monstrous Hundred-Handed One (one mana cheaper than his monstrous), with extra benefits for blocking small creatures.

Do you have Gods Willing in specifically for the Scry, or would you consider Brave the Elements? I'm wanting to build a deck around Hundred-Handed One and I like a lot of what you included. +1

Using this deck as a basis for new deck I'm building, going to give credit. Awesome build, +1.

Would a Spear of Heliod be good here maybe?

I (Also) would prefer Brave the Elements to Gods Willing for this build.

Tithe would be the most help but of coarse isn't legal in Standard.

Whoops...I didn't know that Brave the Elements isn't legal in Standard, My Bad.

Technically colorless isn't a color and with the flood of Eldrazi, you might want to add to the side board cards against that? I like it none the less though. +1

At a guess, I bet you are not running Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for budget reasons, but I think it would still benefit you
