Commander: Phelddagrif

This hippo is hungry hungry hungry for card draw and mana!

My take on the Phelddagrif group hug deck.Not my original idea, just my take on it.

It has 1 win con Test of Enduranceand 1 not lose con Platinum Angel.

Barring that, there isn't much of a way to win :P

Just a lot of fun and S&Gs around the table!

Any suggestions, ideas or comments are more than welcome.

Well, I played a 3 player game against a mono-green big meanie deck headed by Thrun, the Last Troll and a naya token deck headed by Rith, the Awakener.

All I can say is, "I LOVE THIS DECK!"

Heartbeat of Spring + Chromatic Lantern made the entire thing possible. For whatever reason, I found none of my draw stuff and was getting very annoyed (but kept everyone pretty equal with my commander) until I ended up with a Weird Harvest in hand. Everyone had all the mana they could possibly ever need and I decided to cast it for x=10. They got all of their big baddies and I got most of my card draw dudes, but ended up with Platinum Angel and Wishmonger in hand as well... um... heck yeah! While they could swing for upward of 500 damage, I couldn't lose.

I finally got my win condition in hand and played Arbiter of Knollridge (putting me to 304 thanks to Mr. Hippo), Congregate for a LOT (we didn't even bother to count at that point) Fogged when mono-green swung at me and had Test of Endurance trigger when it came back to me!

Anyway, because of the Weird Harvest and just how absolutely HUGE the game got, everyone was reduced to a hysterical laughing mess, as well as half the shop who ended up watching the monstrosity we created.

Anyway, can't wait to try it with even more players. I really don't expect to win again, but I don't care. It's way too much fun.
