The main goal of the deck is to get Platinum Angel, Lich, Lich's Tomb or Lich's Mastery onto the field, then begin spamming tokens. After that, paying life to draw cards doesn't affect you much, and lifegain effects will draw cards, which makes cards like Sphinx's Revelation much more powerful. Simply keeping Oloro in the command zone will net you 2 extra cards a turn! After that, there are various ways of winning, from exchanging life totals with and unlucky opponent, to winning outright with Revel in Riches or the classic Laboratory Maniac. You can even copy a "you lose" effect from Lich's Mastery with Strionic Resonator, then save your own life another way. There's also plan Z: Throw a horde of zombie tokens at them. Worst comes to worst, there are ways of avoiding an automatic loss from Lich's Mastery's triggered ability. Stunning Reversal, Angel's Grace, Exquisite Archangel and even Sundial of the Infinite handle this. Plus, if your life total ever goes negative, you can just give it to some shmuck across the table with Mirror Universe, et al.
