Hey everyone! :D I am somewhat new to MTG and it's my first time using this website, so I am very open to suggestions and improvement :)
Anyway, I quickly threw together this little aggro deck which features outlets in which to discard cards for strong abilities, and bait cards that actually benefit from being discarded rather than cast. This maliciously exploits one of Magic's biggest prices; discarding; turning that hefty cost into a hefty gain.
(See Lotleth Troll and Big Game Hunter. This is essentially what the deck revolves around.)
Pros to deck: THE BOARD PRESENCE AND SHEER POWER IS INSANE!!! It's super fast if you have the right cards, scary to go up against, and very resistant to removal, counters, board sweepers, etc. It'sreally fun to play, and may even be fully competitive! Cons to deck: Because it's very combo oriented, it tends to lull a bit once you have made a few plays. Either way, atleast you've got an 11/10 trample and three 4/3's on turn four! :D
(outlet) Lotleth Troll: The keystone of this deck. Play him on turn two and you can literally pump your entire hand into him: Bloodghast, Gravecrawler, and Vengevine are all cards that you can discard for free without worry, and pump your troll to a 6/5 with trample on turn two. His regenerate ability also does wonders protecting him, leaving him vulnerable only to exile, tuck, and bounce. With the right cards, you can have an 6/5 trample and a couple 4/3 hastes all on turn 2. Lotleth troll is the best discard outlet in the deck, and you should strive to use him over other discard outlets.

Zombie Infestation
: It's pretty much the same as our troll, but slightly inferior. While it's not a creature and therefore can't be discarded into troll or Fauna Shaman, it can make use of discarding extra lands, howling mines, and other infestations.
(outlet... ish) Avatar of Discord: At only 3 mana, this 5 power flier can cause a very immediate and confusing threat and quickly set up some sneaky plays, as it is actually more discard efficient than lotleth. However, if you intend to discard creatures with Madness, it may be slightly costly and may disrupt a bit of your board flow. I put only two for that reason.
(Bait) Vengevine: Vengevine is a disgusting combo that you can easily pull off as early as turn 2 or three, pretty much no matter what hand you have. Simply discard it to a lotleth or infestation, (or shaman, but that costs mana), then discard two madness creatures to the same outlet and pay their madness costs. Yup, that's a 5/4 trample, 2 gravecrawlers, and a 4/3 haste all on turn 3.
(outlet)Fauna ShamanDon't have the amazing hungry troll, avatar, or vengevine combo in hand? No worries. You can easily fetch key creatures with Shaman. What this card is really used for though is just to keep on tapping that green button, sending creatures flying through the infinite portal that is you discarding. Although it's better to discard to lotleth to make him stronger, discarding to Fauna Shaman can get your board going FAST if you're falling behind (especially if you search for another Fauna Shaman to start doubling, if you have the time of course)
(...support?) Howling Mine: Okay, this is where I admit that I'm kinda confused on how to build this deck. There is method behind my madness, however (pun intended)! I find that through my playtesting, creatures fly way the hell out of your hand. Yes you can set up a powerfull aggro front, but if the enemy can match you then you'll find yourself at a loss of things to do come turn 4/5. this is just a way to refill your hand quickly once your big creature rush is over, provided you can survive through the lull this creates (and yes, you should be able to survive). I believe that this deck needs a large hand more than any other average deck, so I'm not worried about giving the opponent cards.
The other little discard bait guys that I need to talk about:
Big Game Hunter- this is as good as it gets when it comes to removal while playing a creature and putting a 1/1 counter on another creature all with 1 mana at the same time. Actually, it's the only card in the game that can do that.
Bloodghast- DON'T PLAY A LAND BEFORE YOU DISCARD HIM! Play it afterwards and get a bunch of FREE 2/1 creatures.
Grave Scrabbler Just a way to refill your hand really... Put him into Lotleth and get a creature, then put that creature into lotleth again. 2 mana, 2 counters, 2 creatures on the battle field. Sexy.
Gravecrawler: Although all of your bait cards can be discarded and still put onto the battlefield, this is the only card that you can CAST out of your graveyard. That screams an easy Vengevine.
Gorgon Recluse
: Alas, the one part of my deck I'm really unsure about. I mean, a 2/4 deathtouch for two mana to put into a lotleth is great and all, but not as good as some other combos. Comparatively, the two mana madness is actually expensive especially if you try to discard it with shaman or avatar. This may seriously disrupt a combo. Rrgh, if only
Basking Rootwalla
wasn't banned... Should she stay or go??? Hm...
As for Sideboard and lands, I'm too lazy to find the right lands or sideboard cards but I'm sure you get the idea xP
I have few lands (20) and a total of zero non-permanents, but honestly I don't need them. This deck is FAST, and it relies on always having those cheap creatures. Big Game Hunter and Gorgon cover removal and creature control, and other than that this deck really doesn't need any supportive instants/sorceries. I was thinking maybe adding Fog to protect yourself during the lull periods, but I'd rather just be able to spew out creatures like a hose whenever I can.
Anyway that's all, thank you so much for reading this all the way through and please feel free to help me put this deck together :D
