I can only recommend Flusterstorm for protection from Flusterstorm of your opponents.

No love for me Weirdhat?I give you the curiosity cards, notion theif, Geth's grimoire, and tendrils of agony... but no love? Haha. Had an opportunity to give you a hard time, so I had to jump on it! Lol

no you are right I knew that I had forgotten something.

Additionally I can suggest some "each player draws" cards: Burning Inquiry, Fascination, Prosperity, Skyscribing, Urza's Guilt
Also Mind's Eye would work well in this deck.
Double the commander damage: Curse of Bloodletting, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Bitter Feud

The point isn't to abuse nekusar, rather emulate storm/high tide decks in vintage/legacy. Nekusar is simply a way to abuse the wheels that fuel the deck.

I tested the everyone-draws-cards and I didn't have as much success as I would have liked, they weren't efficient enough. Every time I drew them I wanted something else. The double-damage cards are unnecessary, if i were going to add one of them it would probably be Overblaze. Generally if I can deal 10 damage with nekusar I can deal 40.

Hey I like your list, I'm a fan of storm. Why don't you use Mind's Desire? It is pretty great. I find that if you were to use more storm effects, you can get more uses out of a storm card by using Venser, Shaper Savant or Remand to get the original card back to your hand while the rest of the copies resolve, then you can do it again! Anyway, cool list. This is mine to kill the hermit druid. Since your playgroup allows sideboards I recomend trying out Cunning Wish and Burning Wish and siding targets for them. I'm currently in testing with Burning Wish. happy storming!

using Remand or Venser, Shaper Savant hadn't occurred to me. Snapcaster Mage was always my go to for the double tap. I am more of a fan of having the one storm card because I only really want it when its time to cast it multiples means more of a chance to cast it early. Tendrils of Agony is much easier to make mana for, I don't run the High Tide package. I think its also the better storm card to cast. I have not thought at all about burning wish, and I haven't played against any Hermit Druid combos, so beating it isn't really on my radar. thanks for the suggestions!

How are the time walk cards working out for you?

Seems un needed. I though he had added spot removal for hate cards.

That's what I was thinking. Did I saw in your previous post that he was wanting to go more of a storm route? That's what I did with my list, and it works like a dream! Lol
November 15, 2015 1:09 p.m.
It is storm with just the Tendrils of Agony. I haven't been playtesting at all, so no real progress has been made, only conjecture.

I need to update my list on here to match what I have on paper as of right now. I just haven't updated it as I make adjustments. Is this close to your storm build?
November 15, 2015 3:46 p.m.
yeah. A couple cards can be taken out for about 7 of the cheapest counter spells. maybe some of them are changeable.
Not sure if I want control or redundancy

Misstep in commander? I know it's banned in legacy and modern for a good reason, but I don't know if it will pull it's weight in a format full of higher cmc spells. But that's just my opinion without testing it.

I'm thinking about Skirge Familiar again as something else to Ad Nauseam into

You spoke very highly of the skirge familiar/ nauseum synergy before. I just never purchased ad nauseum to test it. I feel like if your playing that many counters, Ill-Gotten Gains may do the same thing without any backdraw. (If you get one answer and some counters to ensure your answer resolves) although you are advertising what your trying to do, it IS 1 mana cheaper. Lol
Although it doesn't have synergy with your Inner Fire OR Skirge Familiar
November 18, 2015 12:50 p.m.
Given the amount of red mana producers, I'm surprised Mizzix's Mastery hasn't found a home here. It can up the storm count dramatically. (Of course this could just be a win more thing?) However, it could be better than Past in Flames when overloaded.

Mizix mastery is soooo mana intensive. Like he wants to go off around t3/4 using I mana to get another past in flames is really subpar.
November 21, 2015 12:24 a.m.
ShikiTen I do like the idea of Mizzix's Mastery, I hadn't thought about it in terms of this deck yet.
PrestonShilling Ill-Gotten Gains is also sorcery speed. I like Ad Nauseam mostly for that reason, and the synergy aspect.
