Gspot Well considering with Mizzix's Mastery you don't have to pay the mana cost of the cards you cast from the graveyard like you do with Past in Flames it could actually end up saving you more mana. Both have their merits given certain situations, but I figured I'd just add some speculation.

ShikiTen - though there is the idea that because there will probably be mana rituals that it is unnecesary. It is definitely worth testing.

True, but it's easier to bypass the decisions of where to go with your mana considering you have 3 different colors to be concerned with. Past in Flames is a great card, but based on colored mana available, you might be limited on what you can cast from the graveyard. By eliminating any cost of these cards, you're free to just go crazy with whatever you want from the graveyard. Mana rituals can only take you so far. Like I said in the original comment, Mizzix's Mastery could just be a win more thing, but I brought it up because I also think it's worth testing.

If you do ever get around to testing it, I'd much appreciate knowing your results/thoughts with it.

maybe, it doesn't cause others to discard which is the main way to draw extra cards. it is removal, but four mana is to much when all the disruptions cards are way better at it.

it would be cool. Organ Harvest was always the card I wanted to play

How consistent is Inner Fire for you? I usually draw it at the wrong time, so it only generates 5-7 mana, instead of being as broken as I want it to be. I understand this deck is mana thirsty, but without Candelabra of Tawnos in your list I have a hard time justifying it, unless I'm just simply unlucky. Haha

its possible that Inner Fire is a crutch card when there is access to the High Tide package complete with untap effects and such. I don't have the package in my list so it is necesary. try cutting it and see what happens.

In that sense have you reconsidered Skirge Familiar? Dumping your hand in response to casting certain wheels like Wheel of Fortune or Whispering Madness can net you some mana. Or at times when you can't find inner fire but have already gone nuts with curiosity effects.

He has a high cmc but he instantly helps alleviate mana problems once he's down.

I haven't tried it. I would replace Turnabout with it, maybe then replace Dark Deal with it. and see what happens with both.
