Also I've tested brainstorm and it severely underperformed.

you are allowed 11 cards in your sideboard although even in a competitive edh deck I feel better just having all my answers built into the deck. with a 99 singleton deck its hard to build a sideboard. what do you think of Prismatic Lens .

10 cards* and most casual tables don't but if your LGS/plat goup does tournies or is more competitive, sideboards are in the rules. Maybe dream halls for slot 99?

Look at update comments Gspot about Dream Halls . What about Arcane Denial for more counter magic.

Prismatic lens seems decent. I'm thinkin about cutting the cmc on some of my mana rocks down, but Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus are so good once you get them on board.
If your short a card I'm still suggesting Dream Halls or Mind Over Matter they both just win you the game once on board. I've never had a problem sealing the game up with either I these in play.

Try Spell Pierce I'm in love with it. Less mana and can stop other player's ramp.

Have you considered Lion's Eye Diamond ? It's been pretty good for me. You sac it with a wheel on the stack and get a Black Lotus . You can also wait to cast it until before you wheel and increase your storm count by 1.

I'm also curious as to how well Inner Fire has been for you? I tested it and wasn't the biggest fan of it. But I only drew it once or twice. Could be worth reconsidering.

it has been great for me. allowed me to power through a Nether Void on the field. I lost that game, regardless it was awesome. I find that its better than any other mana ritual that isn't in the decks. So far everytime i've cast it, its been for upwards of twenty mana. there is also a mini combo with it and Reiterate plus any red wheel. If you don't have the mana for both at the same time Reverberate or Fork helps. I would have at least tried Lion's Eye Diamond already but it's price is to steep to just buy at the moment, because im not absolutely sure of it.

Touche I wasn't playing the Curiosity abilities when I tested it so it get outstandingly better. I'll have to try.
As far as LED goes, I would say proxy it and try it out. You should love it every bit as much as I do. The only problem is now your list is so refined, it would be hard to make space.
August 28, 2014 6:31 p.m.
I have come up with a few cards that might be unnecessary

look at the updates, thats where all big notations are.

Scroll rack seems really nice. I think I'm going to change increasing vengeance to scroll raj because it's limited to you copying your own spells.
How do you feel about Ill-Gotten Gains ? At first glance I was iffy, but you can get back Force of Will Wheel of Fortune and a random blue card. Thoughts?
August 29, 2014 3:31 p.m.
its worth consideration atleast.not sure though, four mana is a bit much.
August 29, 2014 3:33 p.m.
im thinking that I might want up the amount of cheap disruption in the deck.

I feel like Simian Spirit Guide is weaker than Rite of Flame . It does the same thing but adds to your storm count.
August 29, 2014 5:26 p.m.

Simian can function with out red mana access though.

True but I always feel less excited about it that rite if flame. Maybe it's just me. Lol
August 29, 2014 7:33 p.m.
Rite of Flame is sorcery speed and requires red mana. Simian Spirit Guide is instant and doesn't require any mana.

Sigil of Sleep seems like a pretty good way to deal with threats, bounce/shuffle (with a wheel) generals, etc. thoughts?

Sigil of Sleep Seems like win more, the kind of thing that once in a moon you actually use.

Doesn't seem win more to me... But that could be due to a kaalia deck in my meta. Give me a fighting change against turn 2 Kaalia. lol granted he get a trigger from her first. But as long as it's not Balefire dragon, I should be able to recover

I didn't think you were allowed sideboards in commander...?
