this deck list is not the same as the deck that is in my pack. so this deck needs to get updated. I am very happy with it currently and I have a smile on my face at the end of almost every game.

Just a thought.. with all the rocks you have and so very few lands, did you consider Storm Cauldron?

Ive not liked the fork abilities since the start of nekusar, fit that exact same reason...as far as brewing goes, I've not done a whole lot of anything either...I'm trying to go a little bit away from the storm strategy, however,i still think that adding High Tide is advantageous if we can get the mana right...

Also, it would be nice to see your newly updated list....seeing progress may spark my brewing intrest again. Lol;)

Finally got around to posting my changes with High Tide. I'm hoping to get any last minute advice before paying more attention to building my Daretti deck. Any and all creative input is appreciated. My main focus at the moment is getting the lands base tighter for full advantage of high tide, without screwing up my mana colors. Also any advice on cards that look weak or loose would be nice too.

Is this your most updated list? I know your updates said it is, but we've been talking about your exclusion of basalt monolith, so I was unsure.lol

Also I noticed you still like the Fork tech, how do you feel about Dualcaster Mage?

It's a creature. I know it's not my deck but the recursion in your colors is spell based, also dualcaster is 3 mana not 2 like fork spells.

Gspot's point is.. spot on. I have decided that the number of Fork spells I have is good. I don't like Basalt Monolith but it's still in my deck I haven't replaced it yet.

I wonder if Intellectual Offering is worth it.

I'd run it over monolith, you can have some sumb aggro player draw and untap and keep comboing.

Seems a little risky... But as long as your not targeting a control or another combo deck, it could be good. But at 5 cmc, it's a little high. I'm liking Gilded Lotus in monolith's spot. I know I was saying a 5 drop is expensive, but colored mana is HARD to overlook in Grixis colors, and it feels like a 2 drop, since it taps for three the turn you cast it.

Try Notion Thief, get hoodrat on those wheels.

I already plan on playing with Notion Thief he seems like the opposite of Geth's Grimoire, I'm not sure about Gilded Lotus.

I don't think you understand, notion thief is a replacement, when you'd wheel with him out your opponents discard their hand and you draw ~20 Cards.

The thief is actually quite good. Yeah, it stops you from doing Nekusar shenanigans, but he puts your opponents in top deck mode,and allows you to take the storm path to victory, without everyone throwing hate your way... He has yawg-win, plenty of fork abilities, snapcaster, And access to past in flames... So that should be plenty of ways to get there. Lol

Copy Artifact over Fellwar Stone?The stone leaves you wanting more, where if you add blue to the cmc in copy artifact, you can clone your colored rocks, or monoliths/ sol ring... And it can clone big artifact dudes in a pinch.

Copy artifact seems too cute, I think having an actual ranp piece will be more beneficial.

then Notion Thief is better

Gspot - There are occaisional niche cases where you'll be happy Copy Artifact is and stays an enchantment - Idyllic Tutor, Copy Enchantment, Zur the Enchanter, etc, but yeah, unless you're abusing it, it's just kinda cute.

(As an aside, if you can put in on a Sol Ring or Thran Dynamo or Gilded Lotus, it feels suuuper good)

No rings of brighthearth does with monolith.

I've loved it so far... Its even good when copying monolith, mana vault, mana tomb... Just take a look at your artifacts and ask yourself how many of those you would want 2 of. Hell, i've even drawn into it and a memory jar after wheeling.

It may be "cute", but it's been SOOOO good, soooo many times.lol
