But, your ALWAYS going to have mana rocks, whether you can break Copy Artifact with your current game state or not, cloning any mana rock that's in this deck is so much better of a use of two mana than Fellwar Stone... I mean even cloning Mind Stone can draw you cards.
Also Fellwar Stone essentially "checks" a board state as well. If you play against something without your colors, your stone turns into a crappy Mind Stone

If 3 players are g/w felwarstone is bad. Nice. Honestly copy artifact isn't great in the end and better cards can go in it's place. Its been said, its cute and can do cool things but reallt lackluster.

PShils, let me level with you - I rode the Copy Artifact train for several months and you can talk about how good it is all you want, but at least 50% of the time it will just be mediocre. Mediocre doesn't help you go off. You need the consistency to never brick once you try to go off. It might be worth testing, but in here the only things you can copy and go up in mana with are Monoliths and Mana Vault (and that's debatable too, since you're losing a colored mana to do it).
On a separate note, I think Mana Geyser might do better in here than Inner Fire for any pod of 3 or more players. Inner Fire will, unless you've got a curiosity effect, only net you 3-4 mana. There are definitely times Inner Fire will make you a ton of mana, but I think on average Mana Geyser makes more. Also, you don't really ever need more than 10-15 mana in your pool, which Geyser can hit almost every time (unless you're up against triple control). I am concerned about its mana cost being 1 higher, but you can probably chain rituals to get there. At the very least it's worth testing.
Forced Fruition seems cute. I don't know if you've ever tested it, but if it isn't too slow it'd kill a lot of people.

Forced Fruition ifs another card that basically checks the board state... It's actually very bad if your Nekusar dies too many times, or if he just dies with FF in play, your opponents get to reload their hand without any damage being dealt

How do you feel about Dark Deal? It seems close enough to another wheel to consider playing.

That actually sounds pretty good and very much worth trying!

I've got to know, anf I'm not trying to sound like a smartass, but what made you put Jace's Ingenuity and Opportunity in? I've just never been a fan of those cards.

I was looking to fix my mana base and found a few cards that caught my eye. Some of the back draws are worse than is like, but that's the price you pay for rainbow lands... Let me know what you think.
Glimmervoid I believe we play enough rocks to keep this alive for a while.
Undiscovered Paradise and Rainbow Vale are arguably the worst of my suggestions, but still tap for rainbow.
Finally, Forbidden Orchard seems like the rainbow equivalent to the pain lands.

I really like Glimmervoid in this, actually. Forbidden Orchard is probably fine, since you don't really care about creatures.

I played with Forbidden Orchard and it came up that the spirits kept blocking nekusar when he had Whispering Madness ciphered. the innistrad lands are the least ideal of the lands but I still dont have the dual lands and is pretty much what would get taken out.

My meta has lots of creature decks, so whispering madness is partly just for the ,Winds of Change ability. I've only been able to cipher it a handful of times... I didn't even take that into consideration. Lol

What about the filter lands like Graven Cairns? I like them better than the core set lands, innistrad lands, and the scars lands.
January 25, 2015 1:31 p.m.
I don't like the filter lands because they only tap for colorless and need help to tap for anything else I don't like that dependence especially early game when that isn't great. The filter lands aren't signets.

The filter lands are better than most duals. They are the only lands in the history of magic to give double colors of "x" when you lead with a basic that taps for "y"
So if you lead with a Steam Vents and follow it up with Graven Cairns you have access to double black OR double red. No other land helps ease the pain of getting to much of one color when needing double of a certain color for spells like your Fork spells or that Underworld Dreams in your sideboard.

As far as them only tapping for colorless early game, I've not had a problem with that. You will practically always have one of the colors needed to activate them. Honestly they're my favorite dual lands because they are SOOO flexible.

How are those lands working out? I haven't been able to get my hands on any of them to test em out.

I feel like you don't want to worry about cards that are dependent on any part of the boardstate besides whether Nekusar is still in play. The deck runs super smoothly when you only need to hit one card while wheeling. If the cards you draw become dependent upon board state, your wheels become weaker.
