I wonder if Champion of the Parish would be better than Grim Lavamancer ... I really dig the utility of Grim Lavamancer though. I'll have to test it. Thoughts?

Because of the fact the you have more white sources than red sources, I think Champion of the Parish is easier to get out. Plus I don't see much fuel for the Grim Lavamancer .
Maybe 3x Champion of the Parish and 1x Grim Lavamancer ? At least for now.

Changes! Doomed Traveler is a good chump. Plus a Spirit Token can carry a Sword if need be or chump.
