Good question. I'm 3 cards away from finishing it. I need Ancient Tomb , Cavern of Souls , and Doubling Season

The deck is built and I've used in in a few different match ups.
Let's just say that having gargos with Darksteel Plate and Whip Silk is insanely powerful. There's definitely a problem with the deck speed and card draw. Its deck speed has 2 gears. Fails to ramp and doesn't work at all or rockets to 30 mana. The inbetween doesn't last very long. The card draw problem comes from rocketing to 30 mana. Or playing all the hydras for just 2 mana and emptying your hand... I will be making changes based on these problems and make an update to the deck. As of today the deck is 1W-1L in a 1v1 matchup against a boros deck. Is 5W-3L in 4 player matchup.
One 4 player game ended on my 6th turn. I went first in that game. I ramped har doubling my mana early then playing 3 hydras the turn after gargos came out. Then the next turn I won with Finale of Devastation x =13 searching out God-Eternal Rhonas witch doubled everyone's power gargos and all my hydras where over 30 to 40 power.

Maybe cut Emerald Medallion & Moss Diamond for Mana Crypt & Birds of Paradise ? The latter is more fragile but a turn quicker and has various synergies in the deck. The lower CMC of both cards overall helps against mana screw as well ofc. I think you should consider Myriad Landscape too since it's basically a CMC 3 ramp piece that pulls double duty of helping you stay on curve, although IDK if it should replace a land or nonland then.
I could also see cutting Lifecrafter's Bestiary for either the mentioned Elemental Bond or Guardian Project . While the latter is more expensive, I think you'll draw more cards from it than the Bestiary since you don't need to pay an extra for every single creature spell.
Other than that, those CMC 4+ non-Hydras probably still need to be reduced to an additional extent, up to you to see what's underperforming

Oh and if you're able to empty your hand so easily you might not need all those hand size fixers either?

Great suggestions. The hand size adjusters have definitely earned their spot in the deck from some of the games I played. I think your suggestions for the changes at ramp are good changes. Although that Mana Crypt is lots of money.

Is this deck good at dealing with noncreature permanents such as lands, artifacts and enchantments besides using Beast Within ?

(Adding to previous comment) Oh, I see Reclamation Sage , but I'm still considering adding something like a Ghost Quarter or a Tectonic Edge when I build my own version.

Nope. toxicmuffin01, consider this deck build as a baseline. The idea is aggro. Kill fast, and kill control players first

Understood. Well, thanks for this deck idea, I'm exited to play it! :)

@Vlasiax, Moss Diamond is currently the weakest 2 drop mana ramp in the deck. Gyre Sage seems like it's a good fit. But I've used it before in other decks and I just think it's too slow, then dies to removal. I think I will change it with Gaea's Touch . I honestly think that card should be seeing more play in mono green decks.

Hello, congratulations on the list. Could you please ask me any questions about this list? Do you have her on paper and usually play against competitive decks? How is your list doing? How would this deck work and what would the combos be? Thanks in advance for your time.

griffstick - First, I love the deck! Upvote for sure. Question: With only 22 creatures do you have any trouble consistently pulling them? Second, I saw an earlier comment about Hunter's Insight, what are your thoughts here. I am looking at putting a build together and it is on my potential inclusion list.

Include it. I actually have played the shit out of that card. It's a good card but it's not included in this list because my history with this card is that it often fails. Harmonize is way more consistent. I avoid card draw one off spells that rely on combat damage to go through.

I have a friend who plays Bearer of the Heavens for Kalemne Giants. Should I throw in something like Karn Liberated or Scour from Existence?

toxicmuffin01 I haven't played this deck is very long. A yr maybe since I played this deck. It's way out of date so I'm sorry I don't have much advice.

Gotcha.
I love this deck but only get to play it occasionally, so updates are definitely slow on my list. I think I may try to do something with Song of the Dryads.

Awesome deck :) Have you been able to play test it much?
