Thanks you for your advise, but I thought it was relatively fast play testing against other decks I've found on this site I've got 40-80 trample and/or double strike damage up by turn 5. No less then 15 damage on the board by turn 5. Are you sure you played it right?

you forgot Lightning Bolt ;p
Also, Devil's Play instead of Volcanic Geyser to avoid the double red?

I would remove the Ring of Three Wishes just because its a slow card. Also for more mana pump you could switch Wild Nacatl for Llanowar Elves . Its still a cheap 1 drop that gets your hydras out bigger. Also look into Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for stupid amounts of mana mid game. My recommendations for sizing it down (other than than the rings) is to drop at least 1 Xenagos, God of Revels , possibly one or more Hydra Broodmaster s, and move your Mistcutter Hydra s to the sideboard. Your remaining hydras can pump themselves pretty well without Xenagod even though he's nice to have. To finish the drop to 60 I'd take out basic lands, yeah they keep your dual lands untapped but you only need one on the field for that.

I suggest Gilder Bairn for fast counters.
+1, I like hydra's :)

Gilder Bairns is a little to slow and can be taken out by a lot of low-cost burn.

looks cool- I'd do -4 volt charge (the 1 additional +1 isnt worth the extra 2 cost) and -6 lands (you have 12 mana dorks). That'd help domri out too as he hates drawing you non creatures.

love the deck love hydras +1! maybe another Kalonian Hydracuz it can just buff things. Something a little unconventional would be adding in a sapphire drake or Crowned Ceratok.

Since you're going modern, Khalni Hydra fits your theme while ramping up devotion for use with things like Karametra's Acolyte and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx . This combo is a great way to ramp mana, and since most hydras have GG in their cost, devotion is a solid approach to making them beefy. Doubling Season and Hardened Scales may be of benefit as well, with the former comboing VERY nicely with Hydra Broodmaster and your Hooded Hydra.

Why not switch Elvish Mystic with Birds of Paradise so you have acseses to red and blue, also you can block flyers witch is always useful.

Okay, here's what I'm thinking:
Drop the 3x Gyre Sage to finish the sets of Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic. Use the third slot as you see fit (maybe another Mistcutter Hydra). Gyre is too slow and vulnerable compared to other cards.
Drop Blue. Vorel is cool, but similarly slow and vulnerable. He's not threatening enough on his own. You could then replace Rattleclaw Mystic for the more resilient Sylvan Caryatid.
Add some interaction. Burn like Lightning Bolt is a must to help defend against aggressive creatures. Pit Fight or similar allows you to take out creatures using your big hydra dudes. Maybe try Banefire or something as an alternate win condition with all the mana you're pumping out from those dorks.
These are my initial thoughts. I'll tell you if I think of anything else.

Sounds pretty good. But I would still -4x Elvish Mystic for +4 Birds of Paradise , -4x Llanowar Elves for +4x Arbor Elf and -4x Rattleclaw Mystic for +4x Utopia Sprawl. This will make your deck a lot faster and smooth out your mana base.

What about the red green hydra from alara. It seems you have 7 mana to. Get it really huge.

Apocalypse hydra is honestly pretty bad. It only gets smaller and its ability is very expensive for what it does.

your going to get your ass beat playing modern this is way to slow where as many people will be getting off their turn 4 wins i also think you have to many lands and not enough domri
