I see you like Yeva, Nature's Herald , but I also don't think it belongs like some one else said. Maybe replace it with Savage Summoning it will give what ever you want flash, a +1 +1 counter (so you won't be losing any if you are sending out a hydra) and what ever you play won't be countered!

This deck is Standard, not Modern. Modern consists of a much larger card pool which would put this deck at a disadvantage. Label it as Standard and you only play with the newest few sets of cards.

You may want to splash Blue in for great Simic cards like Master Biomancer or Vorel of the Hull Clade . +1 from me

Bioshift is a bit of a wasted spot in this deck that would be better filled by a ramp card like Elvish Mystic . Right now your deck becomes viable far to late in the game and you will usually be dead by turn 5-6, which is when you barely start putting out creatures.

Ratchet Bomb is a side board card, don't main deck it. Throw in a couple extra forests in its place and your deck will play out a lot more consistently. 22 mana for a deck with low ramp and all expensive creatures just puts you in a bad position too often, even making it 23 will be more consistent with 24 being optimal I would say.

I think Bioshift is really good here, I agree on sideboarding Ratchet Bomb though

Bioshift isn't a terribly good card as is. A better card would be Ranger's Guile since it protects your creature from dying in most cases, instead of just moving the counters away from your dead creature.

Also, Predator Ooze is pretty much a necessity in any mono-green deck. Pretty much the best mono-green card in Standard and works incredibly well with Kalonian Hydra .

I think the best card here is probably the miser foil Forest . It's very versatile and useful in many situations, particularly for casting spells

Ramping elves like Elvish Mystic and Arbor Elf are always good. If you're trying to drop giant "X" hydras, using those with a Ranger's Path to hit a t4/t5 8/8 is very solid for a midrange green deck like this. Also I highly recommend the Predator Ooze but that's already been mentioned.

If you're ramping it up in a green deck I'd drop the Naturalize from the side and get a set of Acidic Slime because they can target annoyances like Nephalia Drownyard and Kessig Wolf Run while still blowing up artifacts/enchantments.

I love mono green, I usually play G/R midrange myself but there's something fun about mono color decks.

+1

So ratchet bomb is a great removal spell and bioshift can be used as a removal as well which is what i found out on saturday at a casual match with some mates

I, being a big fan of red, am gonna suggest adding green. It will give you access to tons of burn spells. It will also let you use Savageborn Hydra . I dunno, that's just me.

i have thought about Savageborn Hydra but id make it a jund with Corpsejack Menace as well if i put him in
