@saturn999 since we are looking for multiplayer discard those cards wont help us in discarding all of our opponents cards at once. If we want target player discard we would rather just bring in Duress to stop people from disrupting our board. Also since those cards are expensive on the mana side it wont help too much

just because I didn't see it mentioned any where Wight of Precinct Six..... all graveyards....

Ever thought of in here.... Consuming Aberration and Jace's Phantasm? playing against 7 people i'm sure there is a "Late-Game" for consuming to be almost viable...

might even open a counter spell as you were saying in "Description" that they were Mana screwed, Judge's Familiar during and early start.

You really wanna mess with them, I had a Mono-Black deck that would sideboard in 15 cards against my friends (gimic deck, that worked for a casual type game)...and add in 3x Island, and 2x Temple of Deceit, etc. and other junk, and along came the counter spells... lol, they were so pissed. didn't see that coming did ya? I don't see a sideboard here, you have one? or they are done after one game? lol, guessing it's your Maybe board?

Just figure out your best win-con and protect it...

ginko2580 Adding in another color to the deck is too difficult. Its adds chances that we get mana screwed, and it would need to be fast mana (which would no longer make the deck budget). Imagine having 2 lands on the field, a Waste Not and a Dark Deal in hand and you draw a Temple of Deceit, which slows you down a turn. Our "counterspells" would be a turn 1 Duress against the opponent who we think will most likely disrupt our board. I listed the 10 win conditions in the description. They can get the job done. Additionally the blue creatures you mentioned are too slow. I could not proc Jace's Phantasm quickly enough for it to be effective (most of the time they are only discarding 1-3 cards) and now makes us weaker to creature control, which this deck is not weak to. Also anything 4 mana or up is too expensive for this deck. I have played this deck, and a turn 2 Waste Not into a turn 3 Delirium Skeins or Dark Deal will win us the game then and there. Also sideboarding in a casual game with all your friends is not fun, and no one wants to do a second game with this deck after the turn 2 Waste Not goes off.

I'm surprised that you're not splashing white for Dawn Gryff. It really synergizes well in this.

How would your endversion of this deck look like if there is no budget limit?

November 28, 2016 8:48 a.m.

ColFrogfoot says... #8

@Shaderik swap out 4 Duress for 4 Inquisition of Kozilek. Swap out 2 Big Game Hunter for 2 Liliana of the Veil. Swap out 2 Vengeful Pharaoh for 1 Liliana of the Veil and 1 Liliana, the Last Hope. Otherwise since multiplayer is not as popular, our best cards such as Dark Deal and Delirium Skeins are pretty cheap making it overall cost effective. But definitely those planeswalkers would be amazing for both board control and Liliana of the Veil that makes every player discard (the whole point of this deck) and Liliana, the Last Hope can retrieve our Waste Not if they get destroyed.

Words of Waste maybe as a 2 of... (replacing Tasigur's Cruelty). Could combo with Waste Not to empty all opponents hands.

Great deck for multi, I like it.My friend have a similar deck for 1v1. I REALLY despise that deck.

I think most of the cards I had in mind are already suggested so I'll just go by leaving a +1.

With that said, whenever my friend bring up his deck, I take out my graveyard/madness deck and we just agree to not play them. Cause you know... playing cards from your graveyard is a pretty big counter to discard decks :)

@Shaderik Yeah thats the main drawback of the deck, is once it goes off and dominates one game they get super salty

I'm so jealous, I was trying to make a deck like this work and tried going several different routes... including a discard with pseudo reanimator cards like Scourge of Nel Toth and Extractor Demon or just going full Liliana's Caress. But you did it D: You've improved this deck to the point of being crazy in multi but also decent in 1v1! I'd only recommend the new Vicious Rumors and Burglar Rat (if you can trade the unearth for card advantage).

Also shameless plug: Grinding Slag Trash This is a deck that I've made that plays similarly to yours, but for mono-red and artifacts. There's no dealing damage to each opponent quite like yours, but I can get some big damage relatively quickly while maintaining control, and getting a fat Slag Fiend! (I'm just proud of it...)

koyukiXrally Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how they play similarily. Yours is artifacts and mine is mass discard.

But yes those cards from the new set are good for this deck and I will be making a change soon.

Love this deck. I have played a few 4 player games with and against Waste Not, and it only takes a bit of luck to start controlling the board.

How does this do against flying seems like there is no protection against it

November 18, 2018 1:40 p.m.

ColFrogfoot says... #18

GraveyardTomato Kind of a weird question since 95% of decks don't naturally have flying creatures to win an air battle. A lot of magic is doing your own thing. You have Smallpox for some removal but mostly you're racing flying decks since you can amass many zombies with Waste Not or each enchantment is dealing 3 damage or more which should race the odd flyers that get out before you make them discard it.

Can you add your sideboard to the main deck list. Im a bit lost with what you actually have. The sideboard spoiler explains but there is no actual list.

I played this deck on tabletop simulator the video game and my online friends refuse to play against to this deck. lol After whooping their ass so many times with this deck I pulled the trigger and bought a physical copy of the deck. Great job ColFrogfoot!

TriLand Also I just realized Lurrus of the Dream-Den can be played in this deck for free lol. They may change how companions work soon though so be on the lookout for that... but currently Lurrus is a free card that is actually really OP in this deck holy smokes.

I was looking for a great multiplayer deck since most of mine aren't great for 4+ player games. I ended up finding this online and bought it. After playing 2 games and destroying my opponents they said, "this isn't even fun" lol

xo0p That makes me very happy to hear. My energy in life comes from the joy that my decks bring to other people such as your friends. Thank you. :P

Bazoots Very true. I didn't play many games with this deck before people refused to play against it. But I will never forget that total domination feeling =)
