It was a toss up to see whether or not I should have played this or Abzakadabra; enchantments on Zendikar. I'm glad I chose this because it was awesome. I could have easily gone 4-0 but I suck at the game.

Match 1: Esper Dragon/Control. (2-1) Now without my sideboard I was positive this was gonna be the worst game ever. But once you resolve Omnath, Locus of Rage and protect it you can't lose.

Match 2: Boros Aggro. (2-1) Now, this is why I like my LGS. People always show up with their take on the meta. But aggro is aggro, and the ridiculous amount of life you gain from having Retreat to Kazandu and Jaddi Offshoot in play when you resolve Nissa's Renewal is kinda hard to overcome for most.

Match 3: Atarka Red. (1-2) I was worried about this match up going into the night, but I was confident I would be ok after my Boros matchup. Undergrowth Champion is certainly a champ. But like I said in the first paragraph, I suck at the game. MANY misplays. It came down to a Thunderbreak Regent swinging in and subsequently getting pumped with 2 Titan's Strengths and a Temur Battle Rage. I had a big Champion and a Valakut Predator on the battlefield, Atarka's Command and just didn't make the double block. I'm still reeling over losing that game.

Match 4: Naya Megamorph (2-1) This one was just me purely overpowering him and him not paying attention to the field very much. Swinging in when I had Lumbering Falls mana up etc.

All in all a good night.
