I know i've been trying to figure out how to speed it up but the only thing i can come up with is stall with the fog banks by adding 2 more

You could probably get rid of Nicol Bolas, as fun as he would be in a deck like this. You basically need to get him, the mana, AND a Chromatic Lantern to play him.

Also, my neighbor, overlord_ixidor runs a deck built around Knowledge Pool that does pretty much this. You might want to look into that. If you go that route, stock up on Instants.

just trying to keep it standard. My friends though play a game type were knowledge pool is on the field the whole game. All sorts of crazyness

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. I'm so used to a mostly-anything-goes sort of Casual.

Looks fun as fuck for casual play. My only advice would be Memory Plunder instead of Spelltwine : it's instant, costs 2 less and even if it doesn't target your own graveyard it fits more in this deck IMHO. +1 anyway :)

there are a few options i would suggest, primarily in your land base. if you have a land coming in tapped, make it do something, for example use more temple of deceits, add some drowned catacombs and shuck some other lands. it would help speed things up especially if you ditch the guildgate

I liked the name, but needs a lot of improvements, this deck is too slow...you just start playing at 4th turn.
