Well not strictly better when you can spare X cards to exile and only need to tap one blue, but I still wouldn't run it because there are usually other cards you'd want in hand. Basically better cards for the slot. You could run Pact of Negation to protect you if you plan to win right away, but I hear you. I only play Remand in my Sidisi deck on here because it's a stall with a cantrip, and if I get a free dredge off it with a token it works for my deck.

MindAblaze: Logic Knot's cost can't be reduced below UU: its CMC is XUU. And if I owned Pact of Negation, I'd probably play it, yeah :)

i play this deck a lot and something i found to discourage graveyard hate is Rakshasa vizier on the board to no have exile the grave yard spells and ability's, and getting rid of the graveyard would make it have a insane power and toughness

Kharmatia: I'm afraid that, if I control a Rakshasa Vizier and somebody uses a Tormod's Crypt or Bojuka Bog, the Vizier only gets one counter. Furthermore, against something like Rest in Peace or Leyline of the Void, the cards never enter your GY so he gets no counters at all. He does do a good job against Scavenging Ooze and friends, though. I think I'll pass (too situational for my tastes), but thanks for the suggestion!
You mentioned that you play a Sidisi deck a lot? I'd love to see yours if you end up uploading it to T/O.
You're welcome to leave a +1 if you like the deck. Now that I've broken 100, it's time to shoot for 200! ;) Thanks for the comment!

Actually, Rakshasa Vizier gets "that many" counters. Perhaps it might still not be of much use, but it is there.

Kharmatia: I'm sorry, NotSquishedYet is correct. Borrowing MindAblaze's terminology, I need to RTFC. Thanks for the +1, also! :)
I would like to mention that effects like Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void still do not give any counters, though (because they're replacement and the cards in question never enter the GY).

no prob at all! we all make mistakes, one time while using my sidisi edh deck i ended up milling myself dry and learned to much mill is bad, plus i hope when my deck is done and uploaded ill get feedback like this to learn its ups and down so no prob bro.

Kharmatia: To solve that "too much mill is bad" problem, I use Dread and Laboratory Maniac ;)

Have you tried out Filth? The card is insane with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. I love using it to enable surprise kills with stuff like Nighthowler, Sewer Nemesis or Kessig Cagebreakers.
Another of my favorite tricks in Sidisi is Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Diregraf Captain. It feels really flavorful and each of the cards is pretty synergistic in the deck, even without the other combo pieces.

liquid_water: I've been considering Filth for a while. My playgroup currently doesn't contain much black, and so while it's amazing with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, it's somewhat meh without. Currently, the slot is taken up by Wonder. But I might consider running both, especially if the number of black cards in the deck increases!
With regards to your other combo, a friend of mine used exactly that combo in his Grimgrin deck. I think that the parts themselves aren't necessary in the deck, however. Phyrexian Altar would be handy, but I don't own a copy and $20 is a bit excessive. I could run Ashnod's Altar (I've got a million after EMA) - I'll have to consider if it would be helpful or not.
Thanks for your +1 and comment! :)

I've been messing around with Forgotten Creation and when it lives it's ridiculous. So many draws to replace...

MindAblaze: The card seems so good, since most things are castable/recurrable/useful from GY! I want to find a space for him...
The_2ndpanda: Once I have my entire deck in the graveyard (generating infinite zombies in the process), I can use Altar of Dementia (returned with a Dread Return into an Eternal Witness or another similar card) to mill everyone to death :)
This deck either wins with one of several infinite mill combos, or by sacrificing huge creatures such as Sewer Nemesis to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, or drawing a card from an empty library with Laboratory Maniac, or overwhelming creature advantage from Living Death, or just normal beatdown with zombie tokens (often with evasion from Wonder). All of these require me to mill my entire library as fast as possible, which is the point of the deck :)
Thanks for your interest and +1! Any suggestions are always appreciated.

Thanks you for explaining. I using you budget version of the deck, and building it for my little bro. So for upgrades to the budget deck. (except for lands) what would you recommend

The_2ndpanda: Hmmm. I haven't updated the $25 version in quite a while, but what's your budget look like?
The first things I'd add to the budget version are Living Death and Songs of the Damned, plus possibly Peregrine Drake and Necromancy. With a little bit more money, Fauna Shaman and Golgari Grave-Troll and Life from the Loam are MVPs.
Eternal Witness and Greenwarden of Murasa are important as the deck becomes more combo-focused.
Does that help at all?

Yes it does than you so much for you deck, also should I include removal to the deck, or is this deck only a combo deck.
September 21, 2016 5:17 p.m.
Daedalus19876 says... #21
The_2ndpanda: Personally, I found removal in this deck to be unreliable unless it was stapled to a creature. Especially in the late game, I want to dredge instead of draw, so almost all of my removal goes into the graveyard. It's tricky to return non-creature permanents from my GY to the battlefield, so all of my removal (Terastodon, Profaner of the Dead, Duplicant, Bane of Progress, etc) is stapled to an ETB effect on a creature. If you want to include more removal, be my guest :)

Can someone help me? I dont quite understand the interaction/combo with Laboratory Maniac and Hell's Caretaker
September 27, 2016 2:49 a.m.
Daedalus19876 says... #23
onemorevictim: It's not really a combo in the strictest sense - just that if your library is empty (frequent in this deck) you can reanimate Lab Man during your upkeep using Hell's Caretaker to win on your draw step :)
Thanks for your question!

ZomBMO: I have, but to which do you refer? I didn't find anything super amazing for this deck, though my Judgment Day: Avacyn the Purifier EDH deck got some new toys (check it out!).
EDIT: Just realized that I haven't updated it yet, oops...

Congrats on a hundred upvotes! No one is more deserving of taking Sidisi to triple digits.
