Or, hypothetically, he and I could work together to do great things. Terrible things...but great.

1.) I feel like there is some RL connection here....

DOES THIS MEAN I GET TO HAVE TWO ARCH NEMESISES!?!

2.) I see that Harry Potter reference, and I love it.

NoviceMagician:

1) How absurd! XD yeah, he, forte8910, and I play at the same card shop. (Notice how, on Forte's Grimgrin deck, my comments are clearly absolutely unbiased and helpful #blatantlies)

1.5) MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THE ARCHNEMESIS PLAGUE IS SPREADING!!!!

2) (I put on my robes and wizard hat, and bow.)

I SHALL DRAG YOU ALL DOWN TO THE FIRES OF OBLIVION! MUHAHAHAHA!

2.) I see that LotR reference, and I love it.

3.) This seems like a very organized and efficient way of talking.

2.).... Was it that one series that Rick Riordan wrote about magicians? Or is it Merlin? Or TES?

4.) Fine, we can all be villains. But! I have dibs on the giant robot and invisible car!

Bask in the glory of MY INVISIBLE-CAR DRIVING GIANT ROBOT! BASK IN IT!

Maybe I'll get the spacing right this time:

2) "Robes and wizard hat" are also another reference, heh.

3) Ain't it so?

4) Pshaw, I'm going to be the Dragon! Team Evil 4evs. Perhaps I'll pick up a Redcloak to help with the image.

2) Google the phrase. Or don't, if you want to avoid a Horrifying Revelation.

4) As long as I get the death ray, I'm good.

June 23, 2015 12:55 a.m.

2.) I still don't know what that is a reference to... >_<

You should consider getting a card or two to give yourself hexproof it is a great way to stop most graveyard wipes the cards that only target a few cards at a time still get through but most of the cards that remove an entire graveyard target a single player

Daedalus19876 says... #15

I will consider Witchbane Orb to do that, but the biggest problem cards I have encountered are usually Withered Wretch, Scavenging Ooze, and Rest in Peace. Do you have any suggestions to counteract those?

silverwolf888 says... #16

No unfortunately aside from the basic removal after they have done damage to your graveyard the only other option for those is a counterspell. rest in peace is one of the few entire grave wipes that doesn't target and the defenses for the other two would do more harm than good in this deck

SirFowler: thank you! I assume you've noticed that I'm taking a distinct but similar spin with the custom commander deck haha. I could almost use my custom Sidisi in this deck and call it a day XD

I really should update the description though...any suggestions for new additions? :)

July 13, 2015 1:04 a.m.

I have a suggestion. Learn how to use this.

Well, I know Tasigur, the Golden Fang would do well in here, but I'm not sure how devious you want to be. I like Rot Farm Skeleton because it can recur itself while adding to your collection. You could add more recursion like Mnemonic Wall to get back your stuff. I also thought you would've had more dredge cards like Stinkweed Imp, Golgari Thug, and Darkblast, but too much dredge can be pretty devious and hated on.

Anyway, I digress. Hope these help. :)

SirFowler: Stinkweed Imp is already in there, and he's the MVP :)

Tasigur was in some of the earlier drafts, but he worked very poorly :( which I did not expect, honestly. My graveyard was so large that my opponents could always find something useless to give back - once someone gave me Wonder, which lost me the game.

I also had Darkblast in my first version of the deck. It just didn't do enough to justify its inclusion, so I cut it :(

However, if I could find a copy of Golgari Thug anywhere, I'd include it with no hesitation whatsoever haha!

Rot Farm Skeleton was in the deck until my most recent update, and I'm still deciding whether to put it back, and if so what to cut...

I'll consider Mnemonic Wall! It would allow me to get back Living Death, which is my near-MVP. Or Wake the Dead, which is too fun to do just once.

(And NoviceMagician, I will try to learn to do spoilers bleh)

Yeah, I love the Archaeomancer + Living Death + Mnemonic Wall loop with a reanimator in the graveyard. Drives people nuts.

As for the Skeleton, I'd say take out a land or 2. 39 just seems way too high for this type of build. With Life from the Loam, it's easy to get the land back. I run 35 in my Sultai reanimator deck just for that reason.

Daedalus19876 says... #23

I'll play test it that way for a little while, though I have no mana rocks...

Which commander did you use for your Sultai deck?

July 13, 2015 1:53 p.m.

SirFowler says... #24

The Mimeoplasm for my real deck. I want Sidisi, but idk which is better for my build.

I've played this deck a LOT (probably several hundred games) so I'm decent with the deck archetype. I'll take a look at yours later if you want? I don't know if it's the same one as your deck for NoviceMagician's tournament.
