I still don't think you should be running it. Or at the very least, not 4 copies. Control decks take skill to play, yes, but if you look at all of the top8 control builds, they all run at least 25 lands.

My suggestion is:
-1 Eternal Witness
-1 Aether Vial
-1 Cryptic Command
+3 lands, all of which either fetch for a blue source of can add blue mana

@ iamacasual the pre-sideboard deck list isn't a control deck. It looks deceptively like a control deck and in some ways it can be classified that way, but the deck is actually a tempo deck. The deck is designed to stay one step ahead of your opponent while throwing them off their game plan. That's why there's no Mana Leak for one. The deck only becomes a Gifts Control when you side in the entire board and I think that's clever as hell because no one is going to expect that.

There's no need to run so many lands in this deck. I agree I could benefit from another Flooded Grove or another blue land over Tec Edge, but with AEther Vial allowing me to put my creatures into play for free I don't need as much access to mana as a traditional control deck.
(http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/tpc12/video10)[Here] is a link to the original deck tech when the list was RUG. I've chosen to make some changes to go into BUG, because I'm more familiar with the colors and they offer me some versatile removal albeit for the price of Red's reach with Lightning Bolt or Electrolyze .

Hey Chief, after I playtested your deck in the Modern Tournament, I missed one card for the Gifts Ungiven combo, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . It would mean death and destruction.

Your sideboard is only 14 cards, and I would recommend adding another Temple Garden to boost your chances of being able to flashback Unburial Rites.

I know it was a necro ChiefWannaHacka, but I was browsing through your decks, and this is the one I happened to find myself looking at, so I thought I'd offer my advice.
I'll go check out your other deck and see if there's anything I can come up with.

Check out my version of BUG, it's more midrange but it's going really well http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/modern-bug-control-6-1-1-current-wins/

That's a whole lot of Tectonic Edge in a deck that wants to cast Vendilion Clique , Abrupt Decay , Liliana of the Veil , and Shadow of Doubt . Not to mention I'm pretty sure Ghost Quarter or Field of Ruin both outperform Tec Edge most of the time.

With the fetches and other utility lands, all it takes is smart play to consistently hit the U needed for Cryptic by turn 4. Is it tough sometimes to sequence land drops correctly? Sure, but control decks require a certain amount of skill to play correctly or else you end up with just a big pile of cards lol.
