Sideboard

This deck is basically built for alpha striking your opponent.

Creatures and Buffing:

Nivix Cyclops is almost a staple in Izzet based decks that try to go all in on one attack. He turns in to a nasty attacker quickly and settles in to a big butted defender when not attacking. There are a lot of instants and sorceries in the deck, and the cyclops gets a lot out of them.

Flamespeaker Adept is going to get boosted by almost every card in the deck. While I don't have scry lands yet, they will be included when I can get them. Considering the buff spells available, it will hit hard as hell. It also allows for destroying large creature threats by buffing, as it gets first strike on scry as well as that +2/+0. Aqueous Form is great to have on these dangerous chickas, as they are basically 4/3 First strikers that let you scry every time you attack.

Anax and Cymede Gives my creatures protection from chump blockers by giving trample. Makes everything work more solidly by letting more of my damage get through in a round.

Young Pyromancer provides protection from sacrifice abilities like Desecration Demon and Devour Flesh by ensuring I have extra creatures. Also provides a small army for Anax and Cymede to boost for added damage. In addition, gives me chump blockers.

Nivmagus Elemental a great first turn drop as a 1/2, plus early instants and sorcs can be sac'd to it, boosting it and making it dangerous very quickly. In addition, it provides protection from counterspells because I can sac a spell that is being countered, so I still get something else out of it.

All the spells have some way to get extra work in order to make them even nastier in this deck, and even the nukes in the deck buff two of the three creatures available. Best part on tis is that most of the creatures still benefit even if the spell is countered. Only the Flamespeaker Adept doesn't get their personal bonus anyway when I cast a spell, and the Nivmagus Elemental feeds off the counterspelled spell.

Double Strike:

Boros Charm and Armed are featured heavily, allowing for a strong likelihood of doublestriking your enemy. This is desired on a kill round, but the Charm does triple duty in this case, as it can do whatever it needs to.

Avoidance:

Aqueous Form gives a stable form of unblockability with a bonus of scrying before it lands. It turns the damage consistent while giving no downside in this deck save that it is an enchantment.

[[Gods Willing] also serves this purpose by giving a creature protection from a color, and thus unblockability by that color.

Protection:

Boros Charm serves an extra function in here, and this is an even bigger feature of Gods Willing. They both stop effects from killing creatures when you need them, and they are both still very cheap. Mizzium Skin is in the sideboard to accent this if necessary.

Scry:

Although Scry lets you boost creatures well in this deck, that's just an added advantage when you consider the filtering of your deck that Scry provide. With the sheer amount of scrying available, you can usually determine your next draw every time, allowing you to set up combos easier, and protect your creatures easier.

CMC:

Everything in the deck costs 3 or less, most things cost 1 or 2 mana. This makes the deck run nicely on few lands.

Weakness:

With 14 creatures it tends to pull at least 2 or more every game, which is what is necessary, but HEAVY creature removal decks will cause problems.

Without the scry lands, and without the extra shock lands, it can slow down the deck a bit, and you may want to toss those in if you have them, as they fix the little bit of mana issues that occasionally happen.

Suggestions

Updates Add

Did some major tweaking to reinforce the deck. Expanded the creature base to 16 creatures, while still keeping 20 instants/sorceries. Changed out a few creatures to add stability and better countermeasures for creature heavy decks or creature sacrificing. Altered sideboard drastically, though it still needs work.
