Removals
- Swapping voltaic keys for Manifold Keys
- decreasing the number of Resonators, maps, trons, and removing Ulamog(s) to adjust for newer cards
Manifold Key has more utility for same general $ and CMC. We're going to be making some changes to help 'cheat' artifacts onto the field cheaper or from graveyard for free, maps aren't as needed, and trons are good but we need others too. Ulamog is great if endgame was exile-'milling' opponent, then he's great (especially with resonator).
Additions
A lot of ideas here. Some testing will be done to see how it pans out. Steel Overseer is meant to pump up our small creatures so they don't get vaporized so easily. Overseer+Manifold = 2x Tap Overseer for +2/+2.
Artisan of Kozilek is just abusive with this deck. Can't believe I missed it 1st time around. The Artisan allows us to take discarded fat eldrazi in our graveyard and cheat em onto the battlefield; the fact it simultaneously forces opp to burn to permanents is ridiculous. (Note: Like many cards, Resonator can be triggered with this to allow 2x fatties to come into play) A little price CMC wise, but worth it.
The Tower. I know, what a waste of space, right ? Wrong. This is good for the mana color, but more so in case we start to get a lot of draw. We don't always want to discard, so this can be great. We can CHOOSE to go the other route also and discard so we can use Artisan.
Maybeboard
The Idol is another possible fatty. Again, his death is fine, as we can combo with Resonator for 2x 6/12 tramples, and he could be cheated from graveyard with Artisan.
The Golem is just hate, pure and simple hate. He doesn't do much so haven't decided if he is worth a spot.
The Inspector is great for our focus. Cheaper artifacts = happy artifacts, and it has potential for 0 dropping lots.
The Engine is a tough one. It is mid-cost CMC, but allows for some serious broken stuff with Resonator, Palladium, and others.
