I have been falling... FOR 30 MINTUTES!!! [PRIMER]

Commander / EDH BR (Rakdos) Chaos Exile Group Slug Pillow Fort

benngmj

Power level 8/10 (Due to 2 infinite combos, a number of tutors and pillowfort/minor stax strategies)

After building around 15 commanders i grew sick and tired of having a game plan and trying to stick to it in order to win. I personally am a big fan of aggro decks and voltron strategies but people tend to play spellslingers and creatureless/scarce decks. I suppose the main advantage of doing so is that no one knows what you have in your hand, which frankly is a pretty smart strategy because when it comes to threat assessment, everyone pays attention to board states more than hand sizes, which is completely understandable, but also frustrating to play against, especially in new pods or against people you have never played against before. The workaround is obviously to play a spellslinger deck of course, but lets bring it to another level. Lets play with our opponents decks.

This is my final, last masterpiece to turn my friends/ strangers into my personal flying monkeys by turning their own cards against them.

Possibly the most evil deck I ever made, this deck ramps hard into Tibalt and protects him with Pillowfort pieces like Ensnaring Bridge while I continue to play with my friend's cards.

The main categories in this deck are ramp/storm, mana rocks (with artifact untappers), pillowfort pieces/ hatebearers, spot removal/boardwipes, topdeck fixing and tutors.

Voltaic key and clock of omens are all stars in this deck as we run a ton of mana rocks that tap for alot of mana. Ideally you'll want to have at least one of these in play towards late game so you can abuse your poor mana rocks and play more of our opponent's stuff.

Another reason why i love this deck is because in other formats, like kingdom, Tibalt does EVEN MORE WORK, exiling 1-2 more cards and mana geyser can even go up to 20 red mana mid game.

Since we are able to generate so much mana due to the shear power of our mana rocks and untappers, this deck has an extremely high 'storm' potential, which is pretty awesome because we get to take these clowns by surprise.

We do have 2 infinites here (just in case our dear friends get sick and tired of getting their * kicked) with:

Option 1. Rings of Brighthearth + Voltaic Key + Chromatic Orrery + ( this combo produces coloured mana)

a) Exsanguinate

b) OR infinite Tibalt Activations with the Rings, exiling everyones deck so they lose on draw (note that if an opponent forces you to draw, you might lose)

c) OR with Crypt Ghast in play, Cast a spell and extort everyone infinitely with the Rings

d) OR infinite Chandra, Torch of Defiance activations with the Rings, exile around 20 cards from your deck and deal 40 damage to each opponent (obviously you might need to exile more cards, so be wary of this strategy as well)

e) OR infinite Ugin activations, dealing 3 damage each time

Option 2. Sensei's Top + Bolas' Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir

In the future ill consider putting in a lightning greaves or boots of swiftness for creature based protection as a secondary win condition in case Tibalt gets shut down by an immortal sun or something similar. As of now the only card left which i might consider getting is deflecting swat in exchange for chef's kiss. Currently just running chef's kiss for the memes. Someone target my tibalt?

"I KISS YOU!"
