No Thoughtseize because I'm a broke ass college kid and no Despise because I valued having more creatures and removal over being able to control my opponents hand. Both of those cards would be great though! I just don't know what I'd take out to sub them in.

Master of the Feast is a beast in this deck. 3 drop for a 5/5 with flying. Ya it gives the opponent card draw but by the time they can hopefully utilize it it'll be to late. It also takes care of Stormbreath Dragon (before it becomes monstrous) but still deals with it for a while.

Maybe add Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . Because when your swamps are swamps in addition to being swamps, your opponent will have a pretty bad day.

I love mono black aggro..+1
I've splashed white into my build, for Chief of the Edge , because turning the 2/1 Bloodsoaked Champion and Tormented Hero into 3/1, 4/1, or even bigger is too good to say no to. Also, it is a 3/2 for 2, so a force to be reckoned with even on its own.
I Will Kill Myself, Or Win While Trying!! is my deck.

Lifa it's all good! I really like Master of the Feast in this deck. On saturday one of my opponents threw down a Brimaz, King of Oreskos and had the smirk of "Yeah good luck getting through that with you weenies." Then the next turn i was like OK? and dropped a Master of the Feast and that wiped the look off his face pretty quick.
There is no doubt that Master of the Feast is a great card, but it also has a pretty big drawback since it gives card advantage. I like to get some solid groundwork going before I drop it, such as a Bloodsoaked Champion and Spiteful Returned and maybe a Pain Seer . After that, Master of the Feast is a win con and nothing they draw can really stop me.

TheHroth after my Game Day my buddy sent me the link of the CA second place guy that ran the black/white aggro deck similar to what you've got. I really like it and I definitely agree that Chief of the Edge would be an awesome splash because it makes everything that much better. Also, if I could splash white then that means if I sold my kidney for money I could finally play with 2 Sorin, Solemn Visitor like a big boy. Sadly though the biggest restraint for me is my budget as a college kid, otherwise I would totally have a full set of Thoughtseize Hero's Downfall and Sorin, Solemn Visitor .

Sorin, Solemn Visitor is amazing, and definitely worth his price tag. I'm in the same boat though. College, and little money to spend.
I borrow most of the cards in my decks from my friends. They want to start playing competitive modern and legacy, so spend a lot more of their cash on the game.
I've seen that list before. It is really strong!

That list is really good in my opinion, I don't know if I agree with the Mardu Skullhunter
since I think the main goal of the deck is to simply plow through your opponent as fast as possible, and skullhunter allows you to control your opponent's handsize. While that is a very nice option to have, I would rather have the Pain Seer
to help me increase my hand rather than use Mardu Skullhunter
to reduce my opponents.
I will say though that Mardu Skullhunter works nicely with Master of the Feast since it helps eliminate the card advantage that your opponent gets from master.

Yeah, that's exactly why they play it instead of Pain Seer .
I do agree though. I prefer having Pain Seer in the deck, but I play Herald of Torment and not Master of the Feast , so again a very different take on the deck.

For the longest time I was very against Master of the Feast and very pro Herald of Torment because of the fact that i'd rather lose one life than give my opponent an extra card. Over time though I think master has grown on me because its just so massive that it doesn't matter what your opponent draws because it can't really bring the deck to a halt.

I've swung the opposite direction funnily enough. I originally had Master of the Feast but have opted for Herald of Torment instead. It's bestow ability, while weak against End Hostilities , is super good for getting extra damage in that turn, as opposed to just playing him and not being able to attack with him until your next turn.

Oh I absolutely agree with you on that aspect. Being able to bestow it onto something is pretty awesome, especially when you can get a heroic trigger out of it on something awesome like Agent of the Fates or even Tormented Hero . I like to throw it onto my Spiteful Returned so now it's a 4/4 flier, makes it evasive and tough to kill which is awesome.

Fate Unraveler Get's rid of the drawback from Master of the Feast and is a solid card.
October 21, 2014 12:12 p.m.
Fate Unraveler costs too much mana to be useful here. If it were 3 then yes, it would be good and playing Master of the Feast would be great, but at 4cmc, the amount of land simply cannot support it.

Fate Unraveler does look pretty sweet! My only complaint though is that it's a 4 drop creature and that is a little stretch in an aggro deck. I am very curious now though!

Considered throwing a Hall of Triumph or 2 in there? Not sure how, but have you considered it?

I haven't really considered it, but that does look like a good card to have in there. I was also thinking that adding a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

What's the latest on this deck, eatyourbabes? Have you brought it to FNM again?

Unfortunately I can't go to FNM anymore because indoor track season started up at my school and I don't have time on Fridays anymore. I'm currently going through magic withdrawls...
