After brewing around Jared Carthalion, True Heir for a while, he felt very lack luster. Goad is okay to hold on to the monarch, but I only run Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. Anyway, I've decided to try a damage redirection theme since nobody wants to block Jared (until they must to stop from taking that 21st dmg) or attack into him. So the plan is to cast a few damage redirectors like the Nomads en-Kor creatures and then cast burn spells, damage based boardwipes and redirect it all to Jared or the enemies face with Boros Reckoner or Stuffy Doll. In addition to big burn, you should cast single target fight cards to buff Jared and remove problems/value from your opponents.
