i've recently become a huge fan of Shrouded Lore and Magister of Worth, and am looking for ways to introduce them into the build.
Magister of Worth has been temporarily introduced over Medomai the Ageless. should be more fun for everyone else involved thanks to the additional interaction from everyone. if someone's really far ahead, i should have no trouble swaying the votes of folks in my favor.
Shrouded Lore is alright for a few reasons, though i'm really struggling to find something to remove for it. it has the ability to return anything in the grave, if someone's willing to cooperate with me. additionally, in the early game, it can return a fetch, which would help a lot with keeping the land count low. with the bloat in the graveyard, though, i feel like this could easily become a dead card if i'm unable to give a solid reason for X card being returned. in that case it's just a waste of precious black mana, which is hard enough to come by with my current land base.
so yeah, magister in, medomai out. gonna see how this works. i need to be extra careful of changes here; my usual playgroups haven't been playing magic as much recently so testing is hard, and the randoms on tabletop simulator/cockatrice make really weird plays that skew test results.
