I Like Warriors. They have ALWAYS been my favorite creature type. They are warriors! What's not to like?! So this is a warrior deck. Originally I played a b/w warrior deck that was fun but may not have been as long lasting as I wanted considering. So I came back to reconfigure my list and find a potential deck that can continue on my path of loving warriors.
So you may be asking yourself. "Why play the warrior tribe?"
"Why not elves or merfolk?"
"What about something actually competitive?"
"The deck will not do well."
It's simple, I like the warrior tribe and I will play them as sub optimally as I want and lose as often as I want. IT'S MY FIVE DOLLARS DAD! I DIDN'T ASK TO BE BORN!
Oh...cough.....sorry.
ANYWAY.
I still want to have fun with the pioneer format and for me that means playing a deck that I have fun with. This deck is as straightforward as you can get. You play warriors on turns 1,2, and 3. Some can come back to the grave, other's get stronger in different ways, some boost others. You have removal spells, draw spells, and an anthem spell that can find other warriors. It's nothing particularly impressive, strong, or groundbreaking. It's literally a basic warrior tribal deck that will very likely, and very often lose against meta decks. I don't care because I will have had fun. How?
