I liked Boros before it was Cool

Standard Budget Control Mill UB (Dimir)

Jace the Firebrand

Sideboard

Ok, so, I keep getting asked "If your colors are red and white, shouldn't you be making more decks like that?"

For the most part, I agree. HOWEVER: because of the massive surge in boros players in standard, I want to break the curve a bit. I feel as though my local playgroups don't appreciate what true control is and what it can do. In addition, everyone else is playing boros, so I'm gonna be different.

This deck, based heavily on Perfection of Milling, will be that deck. The deck no one wants to face.

tried working in Sands of Delirium, and it just didn't quite work. Was great on those turns I had the spare mana and could afford to tap out to play it. However, that mana was almost always better spent on a Psychic Strike or Dissipate, which i'm considering moving into the mainboard and taking out the Negates. The problem with sands is the same problem I have with Dreadwaters and Increasing Confusion: It's just not impressive enough to invest in. I'd rather flash back Think Twice or use Nephalia Drownyard then Sands, and it's only one more for the drownyard for the same cost.
