Combos and Win Conditions-

What to bring to show and tell- Omniscience, Consecrated Sphinx, and paradox engine

Notion thief + any wheel= Tons of cards for you and non for your adversary (You will be targeted after)

Notion thief + too many wheels + the ol' lab man= Winner winner commander dinner

Aetherflux Reservoir + Paradox engine + play lotta things= Tons of life and zapping people

Paradox engine sillyness + torment of hailfire= Epic victory royal

wheels + consecrated Sphinx= tons of cards (slap down that lab man when it getting hot)

Discard wheels + waste not= plenty of advantages, helps with getting to the end game

Notion thief + Terrifies Puzzle Box = Opponents draw a card on their turn and if it is not an instant they want to cast, it goes on the bottom. This will leave them with no hands and plenty of salt.

Doomsday pile- I like to make my 5 cards in this pile

1. frantic search
2. laboratory maniac
3. brainstorm
4. gitaxian probe
5. pact of negation

opening hand- Try to open with a 2-3 land hand, 1 or 0 can be ok depending on the artifacts in hand.

turn one win-

mana crypt, notion theif, red land, any land, mox diamond, lotus petal, winds of change = Turn one for oppents with no hand + top decking.

oh and I forgot about my new combo- Demonic consultation + Laboratory Maniac + draw a card = win (Name a card not in your deck with demonic consultation, which will exile your deck. Then draw a card with Lab man on the field to win the game) this can be done turn one also- Demonic consultation, laboratory maniac, gitaxain probe, lotus petal, mana crypt, mox opal, pact of negation

lastly, you can also show and tell out an omniscience T1 too. omniscience, show and tell, mana crypt, blue land, any wheel ( refill hand and begin the fun), any other two cards

The deck is pretty tight and it is apparent a lot of thoughts and work have been put into it.

Card selection wise, I can only suggest the good old Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo as an alternate wincon, since you're already running a lot of mana rocks.

You may wish to consider sorting the cards by functions using "Custom" categories (e.g. Card Draw, Wincon, etc) so it's easier for readers to digest the deck.

Thank you kindly for your time spent veiwing my list and upvoting! I have thought about the combo you mentioned before and have thought about giving it a shot. My LGS hates infinite combos so I try to steer clear when I can lmao. I will test it however just to see what it would be like. I am also currently looking at Nexus of Fate too. I can easily cast it multiple times in a single turn or in the turn after.

Awesome deck!! :D Only recommendations would be: Pongify / Rapid Hybridization in place of Terminate , they're more cost efficient and the 3/3 in EDH is negligible. You also want a Swan Song in there, since it's so cost efficient and stops most things that could thwart your plan.

Last but not least, I recommend you eventually move your updates and combo explanations to the update panel or description, since they'll eventually get lost in the comments.

If you want extreme consistency maybe add more tutors. Mystical Tutor and Personal Tutor can find Doomsday . Insidious Dreams is an instant and can find any card(s) you need.

I actually already play mystical tutor lol. And yea personal is good but I just don’t want to pay for it rn haha.

Have you tied the new card Bedevil as a replacement to Terminate ? It's a much more flexible card for only one more mana. I also don't really see the point of Basalt Monolith without either Rings of Brighthearth or the Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal combo.

Hey I used to have a semi-competitive Kess deck that had Paradox Engine as the main engine but I switched it out to the dramatic scepter combo and it was way better. (Just in case you don't know what it is, the combo is Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal .) I found it way easier to generate mana to win with Torment of Hailfire than with paradox engine. Throw in a Copy Artifact to imprint Dark Ritual and you can have another wincon with infinite storm!

Mana Vault and Grim Monolith (if you can afford it) untap with both Paradox Engine and the scepter combo I mentioned, so might be worth an add - plus both can help lower your cmc by swapping out some higher costed rocks. Vault is pretty well priced now too with the reprint.

Also, have you considered adding an Ad Nauseam or Demonic Consultation ? I didn't notice either in the list.

The last thing i'll say is try to cut out your tapped lands as much as possible. I assume your Amonkhet lands are placeholders for duals but I'm 90% sure they come in tapped even with fetches. I don't see a Forbidden Orchard so maybe that would be a good starting point to replace things until you can swing $400 on a land lol

Great list, my only suggestion would be Ad Nauseam it may force you to change around the rest of your list a bit but it's too one sided a card not to play. Also Bonus Round is amazing especially since you already play red rituals

Expropriate wins games, imagine getting to cast it multiple times.

Unfortunately expropriate gets exiled after cast and if I play Ad Nauseam the. It would be bad senergy
