Originally this deck was going to be a blend of my "I Trust Him" and "I'm Learning how to Count" decks, but as the day went on, it quickly became more and more of its own thing, and that thing is Simic (Bant) Ascendancy. There still exists the token theme from "I Trust Him," but to a lesser degree, and certainly less of the revolt mechanic. I just found that in a singleton format it was less ideal. And while there is still a heavy +1/+1 counter theme, it derives more from a Simic stand point than from the Selesnya stand point of "I'm Learning how to Count." In any event, you can still pump out a lot of tokens, but the goal isn't necessarily to win by going wide. In this case, they all ideally trigger Cathars' Crusade which itself combos nicely into Simic Ascendancy. Going wide still works, and believe me, from what I can tell it works great, but in the perfect world, no one sees you as a threat until you have 10 12/12s out in an instant, and while they focus on that, Simic Ascendancy builds up nicely in the corner.

Also yeah, the edh bug has bitten me, but I haven't played a lot so any help is greatly appreciated.
