A madness deck, mainly for control, making use of madness mechanics to abuse strong effects of much cards for low mana cost.
Brain Gorgers - Ridiculous low madness cost to a 4/2 creature. Since the deck is supposed to control the board, it will probably enter the battlefield and swing. If it doesn't, a 2 mana cost Edict ain't bad, anyways...
Dark Withering - Very good removal for 1 mana.
Deepcavern Imp - This one is a machine. The best part of it is that I can play him in a turn and swing for 2 with a flying creature. Then, on my next turn, I'll just pay the echo cost smiling, while I mess up with my opponent once again. Really strong.
Faithless Looting - Some draw never hurts. Two cards, for 1 mana, and giving the opportunity of playing my madness cards? Brilliant!
Fiery Temper - A "Bolt" if discarded. "But why don't you just play Bolt instead of this one?". Well... I can't have Bolt do 3 damage in any target if I use it as an addicional cost to play a Lightning Axe, can I? I can't do 3 damage to my opponent if I decide to discard a Bolt to pay for Deepcavern Imp's Echo cost, can I? I can't do 3 damage to any target with Bolt If I discard it right before I draw two cards with Tormenting Voice, can I? You get the point.
Gorgon Recluse - This is one of the most beautiful cards of the deck. A really strong 2/4 blocker, that usually destroys the creature she blocks, that Flashes on to the battlefield for two mana? Insane!
Grave Scrabbler - Nice creature to return any creature from the graveyard, and for low madness cost.
Lightning Axe - The best madness trigger of the deck. One mana cost, instant, heavy removal. Absolutely nothing to complain about it.
Psychotic Episode - Good removal of anything annoying.
Tormenting Voice - Another good way to gather resources, and allows me a madness activation as well. Better than Faithless Looting to accelerate the game, for having me discard only one card, what allows me to cast it with just one madness spell in my hand, and few lands untapped. Faithless Looting has the advantage of costing one less mana, and having Flashback. I'll keep some of both.
Tortured Existence - Not bad enchantment. The bad thing is: I have to discard a creature to use it. I can't play Fiery Temper, Dark Withering or Psychotic Episode with it. However, it allows me to recover my puppets, while triggering my creature's madness. I can bring back two creatures if I discard a Grave Scrabbler with it, for example.
Trespasser il-Vec - This is one I don't like that much. He's a good finisher for the swift evasion, hits for heavy 3 damage, and allows me to activate my madness shenanigans everytime I wish. Seems good. But I feel it a bit clunky. Three mana to play, only swings on the fourth turn, and dies easily. Still thinking if Putrid Imp would be better...
Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
