People just really hate playing against this deck :PBut yea, Possibility Storm could do some work here if I didn't counter it. However, fortunately for me I pretty much never see that card in my meta

Only thing i would reccomend would be to drop Mutavault I feel it hurts your mana base maybe add in 2x Cyclonic Rift and 1x Temple of Deceit
Please take a look at my deck and leave suggestions if you have time. Black Devo Splashing White

awesome deck, i would just drop the Far / Away for Thoughtseize

@ : CrispyFried I actually just recently dropped the Thoughtseize it was just more often than not a dead draw unless I got it turn 1, which rarely happened for me. And Far / Away its just good removal, can deal with two creatures, and can cause the opponent to sac Blood Baron without gaining life.

+1 from me, PURELY on the Plath quote. The entire deck has a flavor text.

@ kg77wiseguy : somebody gets it :) I feel it is very fitting.

Thoughtseize was originally in, as a playset, but it just wasn't holding up the way I wanted to. Often I would never draw it t1 and it'd be a dead draw when I did get it. Just 4x hand destruction wasn't enough, so they were replaced when I got my last Sphinx's Rev and whatnot

Your mana looks odd. Especially with so much mutavault. I think k you need more coloured sources.

More importantly, is Underworld Connections viable here? I do like the deck though I've played it a bit and it works fine.

Running the two blood barons mainboard instead of four jades seems incorrect, since you aren't going for a fast kill as a control deck. I also personally don't love Ashiok, but he is decent vs some decks. I might suggest dropping two Hero's downfall to the sideboard to add in some more counter magic or card draw. Annul is pretty decent now and no one expects it.

@ kyuuri117 blood baron just wrecks so much, the 2 have earned their spots and they probably won't come out until rotation. And I feel 4x on the Downfall is necessary in my meta

Used to do the same thing with Esper like seven to eight months ago. It does work well, yea. I just found that even with the full temple/shockland support (obviously not running 12 and 12, but having access to all of them), I would just end up with a dissolve in my hand, but on turn three not have the second blue source. And vice versa for Hero's Downfall. It was just kinda awkward, and too slow against monsters. If it works in your FNM then don't change it up but I had troubles with a similar setup. Monsters and MUD are the reasons i'd like it in the sideboard, as it's garbage against them.
Similarly, bile blight and azorius charm will compete for your turn two response, but their mana requirement is so different that it will just not work a lot of the time. And while you might not notice this happening, when you absolutely NEED to have a turn two response vs. red or white aggro and you've got the wrong mana and for the spells in your hand, and you lose because of it, you'll change it up immediately. It's definitely something I understood but didn't really get until I had lost a couple of games because of it. Getting greedy on spell selection can really bite you in the ass.

Should you Apologize? That's depends? do you want to be a good player ? and show a sign of weakest or be a jerk and a bully? laughing at fellow player as they try to beat you.
Over all the deck isn't a bad. and while the card doesn't seem a lot of play.as far as I know. you need to watch out for Possibility Storm . That card would destroy this deck.
