I like this idea! + 1. If I may why not a play set of Sign in Blood, wouldn't that be a total of 4 damage, due to unraveller, for 2 mana?

I toyed with this idea as well a few weeks back. I like your design minus 1 card, Void Snare. It is a Sorcery and is a slow-down cantrip with little more benefit. I have no "replacement" suggestion, although there are cards out there that could certainly qualify. That said, you managed to put together a pretty fun deck for FNM for under 100.00...and that is an achievement in itself...which also has potential to win.

I never thought of this idea but it looks great! If I were to play it I would put two Disdainful Strokes mainboard and dump the Void Snares as I feel the counter to popular items such as Thunderbreak Regent would help more!

IHATENAMES, sorree to get you caught up in the comment cleanup. Anyways, a single Disdainful Stroke for a Void Snare might be good. Actually, how about this. -1 Void Snare for +1 Chasm Skulker (And I refuse in this specific comment to use the words "swap" or "shift"). Then in the board, -1 Chasm Skulker for +1 Disdainful Stroke. I think that's what I mean to say. Tell me what you think guys. 18 upvotes and #35 as of today. Awww yea! A wonderful birthday surprise!

Hey man, I think I remember seeing you at FNM last Friday, and you mentioned that your deck was on TappedOut. I was the ginger playing the U/B Vault control deck there (round 3 I think?). Just wanted to say that this is a really cool deck and I look forward to seeing how it does in the future. Some suggestions for a non-budget build: 4x Thoughtseize, 4x Dig Through Time, and 4x Day's Undoing when it comes out. Hope to see you next Friday!

Oh hey dude, sorree to take so long to get back to you. Thanks for the suggestions, I think Day's Undoing is the only one that I'll add, as Thoughtsieze is a bit... pricey, and I also have more than enough card draw. I'll see you in 2 weeks, so yeah. Thx 4 dat 5ugg35t!0n5

I made a similar deck a few weeks ago. I'd make a couple suggestions. Check out my list.

Have you looked into Sidisi's Faithful instead of Void Snare? I know it doesn't target any non-land permanent like Void Snare but you can play Sidisi's Faithful as a creature too.

As cool as Sidisi's Faithful is, it just isn't as versatile. Things like Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver hate losing their hard earned loyalty and/or creatures. Things like enchantments need to be targeted, and Sidisi's Faithful just doesn't get there. Thanks for the 5Ugg35t!0n though!

Another list I saw ran Day's Undoing with Fate Unraveler.
Seems awesome. They discard and draw 7, taking 7 in the process.

Note about Day's Undoing. If you trigger your Fate Unraveler with Day's Undoing, the triggers will fizzle when your turn ends. So...Day's Undoing was actually a bad suggestion sorryyyyyyyyy...

Holy crap dude, I just noticed that effect. Thanks for pointing that out aceofbass99!

aceofbass99- Thanks for pointing that out.
I did not see the sign, and missed that interaction.

Hey, sorry to be slow, but can someone explain aceofbass99's comment to me. I do not see why Fate Unraveler's damage would not hit my opponent. I believe you guys, I just don't understand it.
Thanks,PIP

When Day's Undoing resolves, your opponent draws 7 cards, triggering Fate Unraveler 7 times. Before the triggers resolve, the turn ends and when it does, all triggers and spells on the stack don't resolve.

Hey dude, I've been playtesting this, and it's amazing! I really love it! 1st match against my MBD drainlife "All your life are belong to us" went like: "Master of the Feast?? but you're giving me card davantage! And now a Dictate of Kruphix?!...Oh...wait a sec...OHMYGOD!" and finally lost hahah...
There's 2 little things that I can suggest to this deck:
Altar of the Brood instead of Void Snare. Thing with this artifact is that it works alone. you don't need ANYTHING at all for him to work. Just play lands and creatures and he'll mill your opp in no time.
Sphinx's Tutelage. Again, a permanent that works alone and mills at the very least 2 cards whenever you DRAW. Imagine all milling you can do with Dictate of Kruphix, Monastery Siege and so...and don't even start to think what will happen if opp is playing a monocolor dev...auto-mill combo! however, I'm not quite sure what should yo take out...deck looks consistent. But at least give it a try! :)
It's a +1 for me, I really like this!

Since it doesn't seem like your getting the most out of Doomwake Giant I was thinking you could try testing Prognostic Sphinx in it's place. I have a buddy who put it in his control deck with really good results but I think it might work even better in this deck.

Yeah. I'm often saying "If I'd drawn that..." but then I end it with "... but that just wasn't going to happen". Be realistic, people!
Anyway, this is hilarious. +1!

Perhaps Archfiend of Depravity or Tasigur, the Golden Fang instead of doomwake?
Zacoly says... #1
I love this build! But I would suggest that you use more Sign in Blood
+1 from me!
