Drana is back in a revival of a former EDH deck I had! I just love tribal, so here's some Mono Black bitey kids to satiate my EDH appetite... for blood!

There's a few things I love to focus on when building EDH decks. Firstly, I've always loved Tribal decks. I want a deck to make sense when it is played, like it is a consistent army coming together. And in addition to that I don't like playing things just for the sake of "good stuff".

It is with this consideration that I have painstakingly ensured that every Creature is a Vampire (simple enough) but that every other spell depicts something you would expect from a Vampire as well.

I've really tried to foil out this entire deck but hit some walls with some cards just having no foil version at all or alternatively the foil versions of other cards fetching a massive premium over their non-foil counterparts.

Well got in a game with my Vamps and Necropolis Regent proved pretty quickly why people should have flyers &/or removal. It took two uninterupted swings with her before she would be rightfully targeted with a kill spell. But I had Glass-Cast Heart out since T3 and had been equipping Ceremonial Knife to anything I could get to swing, quickly racking hp my Blood Tokens, able to finish the game with with Glass-Cast's 13/13/13 ability leaving me over 60 life and taking the more-than-necessary 13 life from my opponent who was only 4 life.
