Plainswalker control deck. Notice that there are more enchantments than creatures. This is because this deck works best in a game with more than 1 opponent. The main strategy at that point is to make it more trouble than it's worth to attack you, with things like Sphere of Safety. The strategy is as follows:

Start with a plains and land tax in your hand. Land tax turn 1, then turn 2 search for the lands anyway, if you can, even if you have to discard all three. That gets them out of your library, so you have a greater chance to draw better things. Make sure you can keep using land tax as much as possible, even if it means postponing playing a land for a turn. Instead, if you have the option, you can play things like thought vessel (which could be replaced by Sol Rings and Spellbooks, but that increases the number of cards in the deck and thus dilutes the draw pool. It's up to you.), so you don't have to discard and have a nonland mana source. Meanwhile, cast stuff that stops your opponents from attacking you, like Vow of Duty. There is a rather strong element of politics to this, so phrase what you say carefully. Then work your way into a sphere of saftey, which is a pretty solid defence. At that point you're not enough of a threat to provoke an attack, but you're not open enough to make attacking you a viable option. Some players may see through this, but while they spend time and/or resources trying to get rid of sphere of safety, you can build up a better defence of creatures and enchantments that may be more of a threat to them than sphere of safety. You can also disuade people from this early, which is arguably a better option but is less reliable.
