Ok first off thanks for all the comments on my Hello Sweetie deck I'll get back to you post work with replies/updates to the deck (uber busy times) As for your build I like the way you took your approach to Merie. If I were you I would swap Magewright's Stone for Puppet Strings as a strict upgrade if all you plan on doing id abusing all of your tap ability creatures. I also think you could use a lil bit of tutoring in here to help you out, don't get me wrong Lili is great at that, but a Diabolic Tutor / Demonic Tutor / Increasing Ambition can go a long way. Overall +1 from me. (Side note I Googled the the name and LOL at Willy Wonka lyrics for the title!) And if you don't mind, would you upvote my deck if you like it as well?

I like the Drift of Phantasms for its transmute of 3 as another search deck option, I use Tolaria West as a land search if I get stuck or for Pact of Negation in desperation.

I dont know, what are you playing. I dont interest in included cards. Everything I need to know, you are playing Merieke and this is much more than enough ;) +1 for one of greatest EDH generals, I felt in love on first sight. I was sooo hated, when i played Merieke last year, so I was forced to reasemble the deck. I believe, you have great fun to see your friends crying unable to cast creatures or giving them under Merieke control ;)

May i suggest Umbral Mantle ?

Tidewater Minion and Illusionist's Bracers allows for infinate tapping and untappin.

@Ressurrectionist - Thanks for that, took me a minute to realise Tidewater Minion stated 'untap target permanent' so it could target itself not 'untap another target permanent' and that's what made the combo work.

Not sure how well defined my deck seems, if I should focus more on tapping, or blinking.

@bundyaus - I was aware of that, but on second thoughts I suppose it could protect Merieke from some removal.

Why no Lightning Greaves , or Swiftfoot Boots ? This is my EDH general, I did a little more focus on protecting her instead of blink. Take a look at mine and let me know what you think. WUB WUB Deck

probably Swiftfoot Boots , so I can still enchant Merieke.

Also, have you seen Alexi's Cloak ? It's an enchantment you can play at instant speed when gives shroud, so it's essentially a cool counterspell too!
